Vintage Traditional Korean Gat Hat With Tanggeon - Rare - Hard To Find
Vintage Korean Gat Hat Vintage traditi onal Korean Gat Hat with tradition al Tanggeon. The Gat is traditional Korean hat that was worn by upper class men as a symbol of their status. The Tanggeon is a piece of headgear usually worn under a Gat. They are traditionally made from horse hair with bamboo frame. Although I can make no guarantee's these appear to have some age and I believe these to be original. Made with bamboo and horse hair. The Gat still has its original tie attached. As you can see in pictures they are in very good condition. The Gat hat is approximately 5 inches tall and 12 inches in diameter. The Tanggeon is approximately 6 and 3/4 inches tall. In original condition these sell for upwards of 300 dollars. A very nice piece for any collection. Thanks for looking!

For your bidding consideration today. We have a vintage aluminum hard hat. The hat is made in the USA in Reading PA by WILLSON. The front of the hat has the logo of the MERLA TOOL CORPORATION. There is a paper label that has fallen off of the hat that is in poor condition, that says this is adjustable from 6 5/8 to 7 3/4 inches. This came straight from a shed at a local estate sale, and I have done nothing to it. It needs to be cleaned, the interior brown band is stiff, and the hat has a few dings here and there. Antique coal miners hard hat with lamp
Antique coal miners hard hat with original carbide lamp. The origin is unknown although it shows much age and a lot of use including the original owners wife or girlfriends name and presumably his work number. I picked it up years ago at a flea market in Pennsylvania and assume it originally came from there. This item is actually a piece of American history and probably belongs in a museum or someone's personal collection who may have been associated with or related to someone who worked in coal mining. If it could it probably could tell many stories. I did not attempt to clean it for fear of removing it's patina. I take paypal for payment and only ship within the U.S.A. Thanks for looking.

And kept his hard hat in a safe place many years after he'd retired. The decals include Exxon'87 Turnaround, the Baytown Lubes Project, and the Dimersol Project in Benicia California back in the mid 1980's. The hat shows some wear and tear, nothing bad, and is still in excellent shape! I used to have a 7 day return policy. This was not adequate for ebay. Vintage NASA Employee Hard Hat Helmet- Meatball logo- Pre-1975 Vintage NASA employee hard hat/helmet from before 1975. Has employee name(Ken Albert) and program on front in black marker. Unfortunately I cannot make out the program althoughthe letters"Mar VII" may refer to Mariner VII which was launched March 27. 1969 putting it in the right timeframe. That said, I really do not for sure which program whis was used for. As far as being from the pre-1975 timeframe. The NASA"meatball" insignia was used from 1959 to 1975 and from 1992 to the present. My belief that this hard hat is pre-1975 is that I also purchased a 35 year service award for the same gentleman which was dated December 31, 1977. The hard hat has an adjustable plastic ring inside that will change the hat size from 6 1/2 to 8 in 1/4 size increments. The plastic ... moreband has a leather band ovr it and both are in good condition. The hat was made by Apex Safety Products. Over the next several days. I don't know the age of this vintage hard hat. It is either fiberglass or thermoplastic.I suspect it is thermoplastic. The adjustable headband inside is all there. But in poor condition due to age. Article taken from Bullard website: The hard hat concept comes from Bullard. A hundred-year-old, family-owned manufacturer of personal protective equipment, specializing in industrial head protection, including hard hats, firefighter head protection and supplied-air respiratory protection. Bullard’s distinctive three-rib. Heat resistant fiberglass hard hat was developed in the 1940’s. I worked on Extreme Makeover Home Edition for 2 seasons. We got team hard hats for the Super Bowl. Alot of the production crew had them. We did an episode in Massachusetts with an amazing family who had a dad who unfortunately got into a car accident when driving home from the hospital after his new baby was born. It was the middle of winter and we had an unbelievable builder who was working through the snow and freezing temperatures. Some of the Patriot Players had made a visit to set. They were happy to see my hard hat and Pepper Johnson signed it for me there. At the moment it is collecting dust in my parents home and I would love someone who would appreciate it more to enjoy it.

Dominion Power Company hard hat! Hurricane Sandy collectable momento! souvenir
Up for bids is a super ironic piece of history! a shore wash-up shortly after Sandy. Was found along my property which is in the Chesapeake Bay watershed protected area after the storm. This hard hat has some dirt and mud still on it. And still smells a bit like the sea. A great souvenir. A great ironic piece to remember the historical storm. As you can see from the pictures. This particular lineman had been 7 years without an accident.

ORIGINAL SOVIET USSR HELMET SSH-40 This helmet has several features that distinguish it from the same helmets later model year This helmet is made during the Second World War. And then repainted and sent to the warehouse. The SSh-40 was the last helmet used by the Soviet Union during the Great Patriotic War. The only external difference between the SSh-39 and the SSh-40 were the six rivets near the bottom of the helmet. As opposed to the three near the top of the SSh-39 shell. Rivet placement of the SSh-40 was due to a newly-introduced liner, simpler and more sturdy than the previous versions. The liner consisted of three cloth or oilcloth pads connected with a cotton drawstring for size adjustment. The chinstrap was cloth and connected to d-rings on each side of the shell by tabs. The men’s shirt is a Sz L/ 16 ½. It has was dry cleaned and appears to have been heavily starched. It has several stains on it. It is embroidered“Grissom” on the right chest. On the left chest is a patch for“Emergency First Aid American Red Cross” and there is a“CD” patch on each arm. The back is embroidered with“Hendersonville Rescue Squad. The hard hat has a sticker on the front that says“Grissom” and has a Beetle Bailey“Hendersonville Rescue Squad” on it. Inside it says Shockgard. 1954. It measures 10 ¾” wide. 12 ¼” deep and 6” tall.
