5 Old Aqua Blue Clear Glass Brown Ceramic Insulators Electric Telephone Pole
Up for bid here is a group of 5 Antique-Vintage Ceramic& Glass Insulators that were used on telephone and electric poles. I got a bunch of these types of old insulators at a local auction and I'm just going to fit as many as I think that I can safely fit inside a medium flat rate box and sell them that way. As for this group. You will be getting one aqua green glass Hemingray 42, one clear glass Pyrex AH, and 3 Brown Ceramic type insulators. First. The Hemingray 42 aqua blue glass insulator stands about 4 inches tall and it is 3-3/4 inches in diameter on the bottom. As for condition, it is chipped in one spot on the bottom in an area about 8 teeth wide. Plus, you can see the glass kind of fractured inside up about 3/4 of an inch inside but the outside is fine. It kind of creates a pretty design in there.thinking positive! Next. There ... moreis a clear glass insulator that says Pyrex AH on it and also CSA. It was made in the USA. As for condition, it is chipped in one spot up on the outside of the top rim. A piece of glass is missing. It's a fairly big chip measuring about 3/4 of an inch wide. Other than that, this insulator is in good condition. There is some wood treatment type stain down on the bottom of it. Next up are three brown ceramic type insulators and only one is marked. The first one that I'll talk about is the biggest one. It stands 4 inches tall and it is 3-3/4 inches in diameter on the bottom. It's in good condition but I do see one small chip up on top. The next on is the marked insulator and it has a"W" on it and I think an"E" under that. Western Electric? I'm not sure but that's a guess. Or. Westinghouse, I suppose. The font does look familiar. In any case, this one is in good shape but I do see a chip on the bottom. It is about 3-5/8 inches tall and the bottom outside diameter is 3-1/8 inches. Finally, there's another brown ceramic insulator that has one small chip and another medium sized chip in it. It stands 3-1/2 inches tall and the bottom outside

VINTAGE Dust Respirator used in the 50's and 60's in the mining industry and made by WILLSON Co. that has been making safety equipment since 1870.This is in good condition with a buckled strap. It has the instructions with it and the filters are also included. In my opinion it does not look like it has been used. It has been in storage for a long time. The top box lid is missing but the folded tops are in tact and secured with tape. No other issues are noticed. This is a Great collector's piece. If you were a miner in the early years. The condition of this lunchbox is rough, due to many years of use on worksites. Quite a bit of the original black paint has flaked off, the original leather handle is gone, it has more dents than I can list, and the original latches are rusty. I think it originally had a cord holder inside the lid, which is missing. Despite the condition issues, this lunchbox is very cool and rare! Welcome to Southern Oak Iron Works. This is an awesome deal that you wont find in your local Tool Shed or Wally World! Everything you see in the pics is included. The 7/8 and 3/4 ABCo spuds have good jaws and points. The 3/4 HS has its original fine point while the 7/8 was filed slighly to a chisel point. The scabbard has pliable leather and by the previous hand has been wittled on a little so the 7/8 doesnt grab when pulled from the holster. The bolt bag and rod pouch is unused. The 1961 quick release belt has all its miles still left to travel showing no unraveling fraying or cuts. The leather needs some conditioning but nothing mink oil wont fix. Dont let this set get away because you dont find them like this anymore. From my hands to yours. GOOD LUCK& WORK SAFE.
