John Deere Diecast 635 MoCo & A Plastic Belted Elevator **MoCo Missing Pieces**
This auction is for a diecast John Deere 635 MoCo and a plastic John Deere belted elevator. The 635 MoCo is missing a few pieces and is partially damaged. On the bottom it looks like one of the screw heads broke off leaving the rest of the screw still in the hole. This will be a hard repair. The belted elevator works very well but it shows signs of wear from regular use. The paint is worn off of the belt and it has some small scuffs and scratches. This auction is for an INDUSTRIAL FREIGHT ELEVATOR/ LIFT This item just came out of a hosiery mill that is no longer in operation. They used it to move their goods from the 1st to the 2nd floor. The property did not have any power. So I am not sure if the motor for the lift works or not. It appears to have been used up until the day they closed. It appears to be a pretty simple motor so it should not be a big deal to get it working again or to even replace it. I know these items new are crazy expensive. I hated to see this great piece be sent to the scrap yard. Here is a chance to recycle. Reuse and or repurpose a very cool item. DETAILS: Elevator box is 48"W x 60"D x 50"H Motor shows 1 TON on the side. I assume this is the capacity it can lift including the elevator box. The lift can span 18 FEET. There are(2) 18 FOOT steel pieces the lift rides up and down on rollers. The lift is attached and moved with a chain. This item is way out of my forte. I will gladly answer any questions I can. It is heavy. But I was able to move the entire thing with one other person. Assembly is pretty simple as well. 2013 is here and we have just gotten back from our 15th trip to the Magic Kingdom! I will be listing many pins over the next weeks. Some are new and have just been removed from the cards and some were traded for. I do not put them back on the cards as it take forever and although they each will come with a mickey back it is highly unlikely that it will be the exact back that was on it when I purchased it or traded for it. A couple of the pins have the screw backs and that will be apparent from the stem of the pin and if I have the back that came with them I will include it as they do not work on the other pins. Even if a pin is new I will normally list it as used as on occasion there may be a scratch from rubbing against another pin but if there is any major flaw I will make a notation of it on the listing. Minor marks are not considered ... moremajor flaws and will not be indicated for each pin as these pins are listed in"traded for" condition. I have purchased multiples of some pins and have doubles of others that were purchased in blind buy sets so if you need more than one of a particular pin you can email me to see if I have more of that item. Original American Flyer Gilbert# 165 Grain Elevator and Box. Hand Made by Mini Craft for Gilbert. Vintage is 1953 only; that's 60 years ago! Unit was purchased as hi-grade quality. With box; has been on display in a glass enclosed showcase for a number of years. Very hi-end condition; very hi-end box. Non-smoking home/environment. Scroll down and view the photos. Do note this section for details and blems/mars. On an otherwise gorgeous 165 Grain Elevator. Am not a salesman; want to inform you of any discrepancies. It’s difficult to acquire true perfection; they were fabricating toys, and in the Mini Craft structures, literally, by hand. Can still strive for perfection, but even sealed-in-box items typically reveal some flaw/imperfection. Tape seams are quite nice; on the back side. At the very bottom, can see a few nicks in the paint/tape, ... moreright on the bottom edge, towards the bottom-right corner of the tape. There are 2 small lighter color spots on the lower roof. And middle roof; with a magnifying glass, can't see any texture. Though visible, the digital cameras tend to over-enhance such effects; cameras can easily capture a change in lighting/contrast. The upper roof has one small spot of perhaps glue/paint(like smudge) just above the tape seam on the upper-right wall(see pic) In the same pic, notice the glue below the upper tier; it appears'white, or lighter anyway' that’s the digital camera. In reality, that glue is the same old brownish color; hardened, it does suggest a reflectivity property, and the camera high-lights that change in color. Also using a magnifying glass, the very top roof, on the back edge of the sandpaper, there is a very small nick. On that upper roof, along the very top roof joint/seam, you can see some faint paint along those seams, also a couple faint lines/mars. On the front side. One window is now slipping away from its top edge glue; appears the bottom glue is still holding it in place. Though currently still in place, it could separate in transit, even with my spec
