This is for one Antique Large 35 inch Elevator Door Latch that was salvaged off of a freight elevator door from 1928. It is about 35 inches long x 2 1/2 inches wide x 2 1/2 inches deep the brass sliding pull lever latch extends above the housing about 1 7/8 of an inch and its mounting nut extends past the bottom of the housing about 3/8 of an inch. The sliding pull lever has a 5 1/2 inch grooved grab area at the bottom end for easy use and is latched closed by an internal spring. This is a vacuum cassette loadlock with an integral linear pass-through transfer arm. In use. This system would have a process chamber attached to the left side(facing the door) of the cassette loadlock, with a large gate valve separating. A cassette of workpieces is manually loaded through the door, the chamber is pumped down to vacuum, and the linear robot is used to reach into the cassette, lift a workpiece, then place it in the process chamber(ion mill, sputter, analysis, etc. It could work equally well for transferring wafers or pucks, or any flat workpiece. The linear robot is driven by an LM Guide Actuator worm gear coupled magnetically through the chamber wall. The cassette elevator is a Brooks Automation model 001-9010-09. US Elevator was acquired by Thyssen Krupp 15-20 years ago. This is a good piece for a collector or to be used as spare parts as US elevator parts are difficult to come by.

There are 4 instruction books but I don't know if all sets are complete. The train. The elevator and the green vehicle work The white vehicle had batteries left in it that were corroded-I don't know if the connections can be cleaned so it will work again. There are over 470 of the little building squares. Pieces that look like Lego compatible include 14 purple and 3 gray flat 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches, 3 each-purple and gray 6 1/4 x 3 inch flat rectangles, 6 quarter circles that are 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches on the straight sides and 9 flat gray 12 3/4 x 6 1/4 inch pieces. There are 8 gray ramps-6 1/4 x 3 inches and 3 gray pieces the same size that are not ramps(platforms? See pictures for the many pieces I don't know how to describe-there are too many to figure out! The system has 8 numbered pieces that are"keys" for the vehicles ... moreand 2 controllers. The elevator plugs into the main system. The vehicles use AA batteries.
