These clamps were used to secure the elevator and rudder while parked at the airfield. they are secured on opposite sides of an airplane control surface and secure it from unwanted moving while under harsh weather conditions. Made of aluminum and steel. This is a FANTASTIC piece! Though it does feature some corrosion and damage, it still retains 95% original paint! Original Fairbanks Morse Scales Porcelain Grain Elevator Sign Hit Miss Engine
This is a nice original Fairbanks Morse Scales porcelain sign that used to hang on scalehouse at the grain elevators. It measures about 9 x 50 inches and is in excellent original condition with only a few minor woulds and a chip along the top edge. It was made by the Burdick Company in Chicago. It still displays very bright and vibrant colors and could probably even be cleaned up a bit but I left it all original just as it was removed. The back is in great condition as well. All of the original mounting grommets are in place. There are a few very small holes that take very little away from this sign's displayability. These signs are getting very hard to find in the wild especially in this condition. I have seen these signs sell for over $600 but I'm asking a bit less. This very scarce unissued check comes down to us from the St. Anthony and Dakota Elevator Co. based in Minneapolis Minnesota. It is dated 193_ The check is stamped with the company's Chinook Montana Station location! Beautifully engraved on beige paper with a large red serial number. The check features a terrifice vignette of an old grain elevator complex complete with lumber yard and country store with horsedrawn wagon out front. This is a"Protect-U" check patented in 1917 with 4 rows of ascending dollar amounts(from $1 to $9500) in a panel at the left. Pristine unused condition! Not one fold. Split, tear, stain or other imperfection, and a fantastic piece of Western memorabilia!

IOWA” impressed on top. Inside the case are two small keys. Both from the“PRESTO LOCK CORP. N.Y. And a fob that is stamped with, J.T. McGARRY; VICTOR. IOWA; 1924. In doing a bit of research on this key case and fob. We found that‘Victor’ is a small town in Iowa that was started in 1863. We could find no information on the Yeisley Elevator. Or J.T. McGarry(It is possible that McGarry was a member of the Iowa State Representatives. But could not pin it down! Hope some knowledgeable Iowan Ebayer can help us out! The key case is in good condition for its age and use. Leather pilling a ... morebit on the inside. Snap works well. The shaft on the section holding the keys is a little oxidized. Making it hard to open, and we did not want to break it, so we left it alone. The keys have some minor rust at the top; keys and fob need cleaning, but are good. The case measures 2 ¾” long x 1 ¼” at widest point. The keys are approximately 1 ½” long. 2013 is here and we have just gotten back from our 15th trip to the Magic Kingdom! I will be listing many pins over the next weeks. Some are new and have just been removed from the cards and some were traded for. I do not put them back on the cards as it take forever and although they each will come with a mickey back it is highly unlikely that it will be the exact back that was on it when I purchased it or traded for it. A couple of the pins have the screw backs and that will be apparent from the stem of the pin and if I have the back that came with them I will include it as they do not work on the other pins. Even if a pin is new I will normally list it as used as on occasion there may be a scratch from rubbing against another pin but if there is any major flaw I will make a notation of it on the listing. Minor marks are not considered ... moremajor flaws and will not be indicated for each pin as these pins are listed in"traded for" condition. I have purchased multiples of some pins and have doubles of others that were purchased in blind buy sets so if you need more than one of a particular pin you can email me to see if I have more of that item. here we have a great swing out stool. stool is in great condition. this stool looked as if it was mounted on the corner of something at one time. but i have made a aluminum spacer block allowing you to mount it on a flat wall is you choose. also i had to machine a new hinge pin as pictured. it will be up to you if you want to paint them black. i just left them in natural color so you can see that they are new pieces. the wood seat is 11 inches diameter. the seat adjusts by screwing it clockwise or counter clock wise.
