Top is Red Glass(not plastic) used and overall good condition: The entire fixture is about 7 inches tall. This is a very modern style of light. It has a quick release top to access the light bulb. It has a threaded hole that you cant ake a 1 inch standard threaded pipe and screw into the light fixture. The light uses standard light bulb thread. You can put in a standard house light bulb including a short CFL bulb. The light is very easy to get electric power to. You take your power wires wrap around the 2 screws/ tighten and that will give power to the bulb. This would be great for towers or even a table lamp in your home: Condition notes: Overall light ... moreis used and good condition. There are 2 very small nick's or chips on the side of the globe- see picture with fingers pointing to the marks. These marks in glass are only on the surface- no major damage to the glass or cracks. The glass globe has lots of white dots or marks- may be paint overspray or something simular. Only the surface effected- again no major problem with glass globe. The rubber ring is in great condition, not cracked/not dry. Threads in the aluminum base are in perfect condition- not stripped. Slight redish tower paint overspray on the alum base. There is a small cord that attaches the top light to the base so when changing the bulb the top stays attached.
