Federal Signal Corporation Amber Warning Light Beacon Ambulance Police Vintage
Here we have a Federal Signal Corporation Titan amber warning light. This one is called the Titan I'm guessing because it measures a whopping 11 5/8" H x 9"W x 28 3/4" Circ. It is model#312. 12 Volts. SAE W3 78. This rotating amber light appears be unused as far as I can tell. As you can see by the pics. The red plastic mounting plugs are still in the bottom of the base and the installation parts bag looks unopened with all original parts for installing this big boy. Parts include: pull switch. Toggle bolts, rubber grommets, wire, nuts, etc and the original instructions with original warranty. The silver paint on the finned base looks brand new. The amber bubble has a slight haze near the top. I believe this happened because of some kind of reaction it had with the plastic bag that it has been in contact with while it's ... morebeen in it's original box for who knows how many years. This thing has to be between 30 to 40 plus years old. I believe you could polish this off if you find the right plastic polish. There is a 2.5" hairline crack at the back of the lens. Near the clamp ring. You would barely notice this once installed on your vehicle. The metal clamp hoop that holds the bubble lens appears to me to be stainless steel looks brand new but has a slight slight haze or tiny oxidation discoloring from sitting on the shelf for so many years. I am sure a tiny pit of polish will make it look perfect. I would call this item New Old Stock and besides the tiny hairline crack I described. Anything else is pure shelf wear from sitting so long on the shelf. I have now doubt this thing is brand new and would work perfectly. Thank you for looking out our auction today. CONDITION Beacon is has very little scuffs and scrapes in the plastic. Appears to have been used very little. Lamp is 100% operational. Chrome base shell has very few minor scuffs and scratches. Chrome base shell will not lock completely in place and there appears to be something missing. The more I play with it to try and lock it, the more i feel the chrome piece is missing something or the wrong piece for this lamp. Therefore I am deeming this auction for part and pieces only. Vintage Sho-Me Amber Teardrop Beacon Light w/ magnetic feet/lighter adapter
This is a vintage Sho-Me brand model 01-166/01-169 12-Volt amber beacon light. It has three magnetic feet for easy roof attachment as well as a mountable bracket clip on the bottom. The cord is still very loose and flexible. Not at all dried out, and probably 10 ft when pulled all the way out. The dome is scuffed on the outside from trunk storage, but it is purely cosmetic and does not affect the performance at all. It lights and spins with no issues, and is quite bright. Very cool little teardrop light, perfect for Ghostbusting or superheroing! Any and all questions feel free to ask! I'm selling a lot of neat and unique retro/vintage stuff right now. We simply attached the 2 wires to our battery charger. All 4 lights/bulbs work fine and it spun around like it should. Very bright! Nice large size. Total height to the top of the amber lens is 8 1/2" and total width is 8 3/8" You could probably hard-wire a 12 volt cigarette lighter style plug with stretchy cord onto it if you do not want to hard-wire it to your truck. Vintage 1970s? 1980s? ESCO Flashing Light 120V The top part is made of plastic the bottom base is made of metal. The top part does swivel so you can turn light. The cord is split from rubber going into the box but does not affect the light from working as it should. I just installed a new Bulb. Up for sale is a nice vintage original Federal Sign and Signal Corp JUNIOR BEACON RAY amber glass dome rotating light. It is attached to a iron mounting and comes from the estate of an old timer that was a volunteer fireman back in the day. I do not know how old it is but its definitely vintage. I hooked it up to a 12 volt battery and it works. No damages to the glass dome. The lamp is dirty and needs to be cleaned and polished. All I did was dust it off and wipe it with a damp rag to take some of the grim off. You are buying it just as you see it. Perfect for your Man Cave! I just purchased it fresh from an estate auction and will only remove the iron bracket if you do not want it. I can adjust the invoice- but let me know prior to sending the invoice.
