Here we have a Federal Signal Corporation Titan amber warning light. This one is called the Titan I'm guessing because it measures a whopping 11 5/8" H x 9"W x 28 3/4" Circ. It is model#312. 12 Volts. SAE W3 78. This rotating amber light appears be unused as far as I can tell. As you can see by the pics. The red plastic mounting plugs are still in the bottom of the base and the installation parts bag looks unopened with all original parts for installing this big boy. Parts include: pull switch. Toggle bolts, rubber grommets, wire, nuts, etc and the original instructions with original warranty. The silver paint on the finned base looks brand new. The amber bubble has a slight haze near the top. I believe this happened because of some kind of reaction it had with the plastic bag that it has been in contact with while it's ... morebeen in it's original box for who knows how many years. This thing has to be between 30 to 40 plus years old. I believe you could polish this off if you find the right plastic polish. There is a 2.5" hairline crack at the back of the lens. Near the clamp ring. You would barely notice this once installed on your vehicle. The metal clamp hoop that holds the bubble lens appears to me to be stainless steel looks brand new but has a slight slight haze or tiny oxidation discoloring from sitting on the shelf for so many years. I am sure a tiny pit of polish will make it look perfect. I would call this item New Old Stock and besides the tiny hairline crack I described. Anything else is pure shelf wear from sitting so long on the shelf. I have now doubt this thing is brand new and would work perfectly. Thank you for looking out our auction today. Dietz Amber Revolving Warning Light- Older Model Works Well But Needs Some TLC. Its an older warning light that still functions very well. It is 12 Volts and has a two lamp system. No wire kit. Switch, extra wire, instructions, or gasket found or included. It could do with a new light dome as it looks like the light unit was dropped at one time and has a large crack across the top of the dome. However the dome isn't loose and is held very firm in it's locked down position. It's still water proof and it looks like it was used in that manner for a while. The inside of the unit shows age from natural usage and small marks are generally indicative and visible over the general surface of the entire unit. This light unit was tested and works well. There are three bolt holes inside the dome to put bolts through I presume? I'm really not too familiar with these units- you may know better. For auction is this large 115/120 volts. Used, TRIPP LITE" Model VI. Amber caution"WARNING" revolving beacon safety light. The light has an aluminum base with an amber colored plastic dome that is clamped on to the base with a locking expansion ring that fits snugly around the base of the dome. Please refer to the description photos for more details about what I have described. The light fixture measures approximately 9.75" tall and 7.75" in diameter at the bottom and 6.50" at the top of the dome. There is an approximate 15" long black electrical cord that runs out the bottom of the light. The cord has been cut shorter in order to dismantle and remove it from pole it had once been mounted upon. The cord does not have a plug. The plastic amber dome is in very good condition as it is clear and shows no signs ... moreof cracks. Chips or having any significant scratches or scuffing over its surface. There are minor light scratches and wear marks about the dome's surface but this is from normal use over the years and nothing you would not expect to see on a piece such as this. The aluminum base is also in very good condition showing signs of minor oxidation on the bottom and some age spots along the sides. Both of these noted minor issues can easily be mitigated with a little"000" steel wool and a few minutes of the new owners time. There is a" TRIPP MFG. CO. embossed metal tag riveted to the side of the light's base. The tag measures approximately 1.0" by 3.75" in size and provides the following information. There are minor light scratches and wear marks about the dome's surface but this is from normal use over the years and nothing you would not expect to see on a piece such as this. The aluminum base is also in very good condition showing signs of minor oxidation and age spots along the sides. The noted minor oxidation issues can easily be mitigated with a little"000" steel wool and a few minutes of the new owners time. There is a" DIETZ" company label affixed to the outside of the fixture's base. The label measures approximately 7/8" by 1.75" in size and provides the following information.
