Measuring 9 1/2" tall and 7" in diameter. It has a metal label which reads: Tripp Lite, Model RF63, Volts 12, Division of Tripp Mfg. Co. Chicago 6. It has a plastic lens and an aluminum body and is in very good working condition, as seen in the pictures. Cosmetically, it is in very good condition, but does have small stress cracks from the sun(they can be seen, but not felt) on top of the blue lens. There are minor signs of wear on the aluminum body. Used Large 120-V TRIPP LITE Amber Caution WARNING Revolving BEACON Safety Light
For auction is this large 115/120 volts. Used, TRIPP LITE" Model VI. Amber caution"WARNING" revolving beacon safety light. The light has an aluminum base with an amber colored plastic dome that is clamped on to the base with a locking expansion ring that fits snugly around the base of the dome. Please refer to the description photos for more details about what I have described. The light fixture measures approximately 9.75" tall and 7.75" in diameter at the bottom and 6.50" at the top of the dome. There is an approximate 15" long black electrical cord that runs out the bottom of the light. The cord has been cut shorter in order to dismantle and remove it from pole it had once been mounted upon. The cord does not have a plug. The plastic amber dome is in very good condition as it is clear and shows no signs ... moreof cracks. Chips or having any significant scratches or scuffing over its surface. There are minor light scratches and wear marks about the dome's surface but this is from normal use over the years and nothing you would not expect to see on a piece such as this. The aluminum base is also in very good condition showing signs of minor oxidation on the bottom and some age spots along the sides. Both of these noted minor issues can easily be mitigated with a little"000" steel wool and a few minutes of the new owners time. There is a" TRIPP MFG. CO. embossed metal tag riveted to the side of the light's base. The tag measures approximately 1.0" by 3.75" in size and provides the following information. MADE BY TRIPP LITE" MODEL VI" VOLTS 115/120" A DIVISION OF TRIPP MFG. CO. CHICAGO 6" Before listing this piece of equipment. I tested the light fixture and am happy to report the light does work as designed. The motor works perfectly as it steadily spins the reflective concave shield inside the dome continuously around the lighted bulb thereby creating the desired rotating beacon affect.
