Up for auction today is a very very rare Dietz 211 amber warning revolving light. I pulled this vintage baby off of an old Dodge Tow Truck and have had this now for a few years. I looked around and found an original amber Dietz 77-212 lens as the previous one was faded from the sun. This model# SAE-W3-65 was built in the 60's and is fully working. All four bright lights work and revolve as they should. I have also added an inline fuse holder to protect the light. see pics) You very rarely see any 211's for sale as Dietz converted to the 711 model shortly after. For auction is this large 115/120 volts. Used, TRIPP LITE" Model VI. Amber caution"WARNING" revolving beacon safety light. The light has an aluminum base with an amber colored plastic dome that is clamped on to the base with a locking expansion ring that fits snugly around the base of the dome. Please refer to the description photos for more details about what I have described. The light fixture measures approximately 9.75" tall and 7.75" in diameter at the bottom and 6.50" at the top of the dome. There is an approximate 15" long black electrical cord that runs out the bottom of the light. The cord has been cut shorter in order to dismantle and remove it from pole it had once been mounted upon. The cord does not have a plug. The plastic amber dome is in very good condition as it is clear and shows no signs ... moreof cracks. Chips or having any significant scratches or scuffing over its surface. There are minor light scratches and wear marks about the dome's surface but this is from normal use over the years and nothing you would not expect to see on a piece such as this. The aluminum base is also in very good condition showing signs of minor oxidation on the bottom and some age spots along the sides. Both of these noted minor issues can easily be mitigated with a little"000" steel wool and a few minutes of the new owners time. There is a" TRIPP MFG. CO. embossed metal tag riveted to the side of the light's base. The tag measures approximately 1.0" by 3.75" in size and provides the following information.
