You are bidding on a vintage silverplate butter spreader knife that was manufactured for The Warwick Hotel. The knife is approximately 5 7/8 inches long and 5/8 inches wide. On the handle it says International S.Co. The Warwick Hotel is located on the corner of West Avenue and 25th Street in Newport News. Virginia.The hotel opened on April 11, 1883. In 1928 a seven story 72 room addition was built. During World War II the hotel had 275 rooms. In 1960 a fire destroyed the original part of the hotel but the hotel remained in business using the 1928 building addition space until it closed in 1988. In 1991 the hotel became a rooming house for homeless persons. Plea se refer to the photos for the condition. Unfortunately there is some camera reflection in the photos. A few of the disks are bent and rusty- mainframe looks pretty straight. Wagon looks pretty good- a little dusty- some playwear. Slight bending- but displays well also.
