This is a STIHL BT 120c earth auger, comes with the drill bit you see in the pics. It measures 28" x 6" and it will be removed for shipping. OK now listen up gentlemen. This unit is being sold'AS IS WHERE IS' NO RETURNS, no exceptions, PERIOD. If you do not agree to this, please look elsewhere. This auger was used today, Saturday, 6/22. It was working well, then stalled. I then took the carb off, cleaned it out, the internal filter had alot of gunk) put a new e3 12 spark plug in it. Drilling resumed, I took a few pictures of the holes as you see. Now then, the throttle on this unit has a'sweet spot' which is about half trigger. Ive seen this before on some Stihl units. If you mash ... morethe trigger all the way to the handle it will bog down. Again guys, if this is too tough for you to deal with, this unit is NOT for you. I repeat, NOT for you. Other than that, its working and drilling well if you just work with it like that. Used equipment will always have issues, this one is no exception. If I remember right the BT 120 was over $1000 for a brand new one. The current BT 121 is right around $970 out the door. So these are expensive machines. Its as is where is. Thats why Im running this auction with NO RESERVE. It ends where ever it ends, regardless of price. The engine is KNOWN to be good, compression tested today@ just shy of 140 psi. The only problems I could envision near term with this would be carburetor and ignition coil, and worse case scenario if you had to buy both, I think less than $100 and easy to change. Sold machine& 1 drill& have a few drills left. The auger fitting is 1" hole with 1 3/4" outside. It is 31 1/2" long& is Full flited. It ships at 14#s& goes in a box 7x9x32. I also have other new auger for sale that is 4" 2" This used one has a shock box with it. It cuts down on the jarring when you hit root or other stuff. I can't find the shock box listed anywhere.
