E-Stop Switch Lexan Guarding around Heater plate(with microswitch so that machine can NOT be run without the guard in place) Great Plains Packaging Systems has been a Visual Thermoforming Authorized Distributor for years. We know these machines inside and out. This particular machine came in to us with a broken lexan guard. A bad main seal air cylinder, loose wiring(probably from bouncing on a truck) burned out light bulbs, A leaking ... moreair pressure regulator, a broken flow control on the table rotation cylinder, and a broken cycle switch. We took this machine apart and cleaned her up inside& out. A new($750) Numatics brand air cylinder was installed to replace the"Waircom" cylinder that runs the heater plate up and down. This was a significant upgrade, as the factory"waircom" cylinders are VERY expensive to rebuild, when its time for a seal kit. The Numatics cylinder costs about $100 for a complete rebuild kit when the time comes. This NEW cylinder will have a lot of years of use before needing anything. A NEW Lexan heater guard was installed and the safety switch behind the guard was tested. The leaking air regulator was swapped out with a Non-Leaker and the cycle switch was replaced with NEW as were the light bulbs for"heater ready" and"Cycle on" The broken flow control on the table rotation speed air cylinder was replaced with NEW. All of the wiring was gone through and secured to the proper connection terminals. She was then connected to air pressure and 220 volt power and thoroughly tested"dry cycling" for a minimum of 500 cycles. The table rotation s

This die cutting machine. Is typically paired up with a skin packaging machine, but doesn't have to be. It can be used to cut materials such as: Skin packaged boards, Cork, Gasket Material, Foil, Paper Products, Corrugated sheets, thinner plastic materials, etc. If you have a product that your'e unsure of, just send us a few samples. We have a collection of misc steel rule cutting dies that we can test your product through this machine with no problems! The"34-2" model number simply means that the open cutting width is 34" wide and that BOTH steel rollers are power driven. The dual roll drive really helps when shuttling a cutting die back ... moreand forth through the rollers. It keeps a much tighter registration between the die and the substrate your'e cutting. This is an extremely simple machine to set up and operate. When we need to adjust the gap between the large pinch rollers for different thicknesses of cutting dies. There are two screw shafts that stick out the top of the machine. These shafts are tied together with a small chain so that the upper roller height can be adjusted from either side of the machine. The chain between the two screw shafts also ensures that the upper roller always stays parallel with the fixed position bottom roller. Once the proper roller"Gap" has been established for a good cut, the operator depresses a"START" button and the rollers will pull the die through and push it out the other side. The die cut components are then unloaded from the die and a fresh sheet of uncut product is loaded into the die and its sent back through the rollers in the other direction for unloading again, but now on the other side. Proto-Form 24" x 48" vacuum forming thermoforming machine
This is a Proto-Form vacuum forming machine that I built about two years ago. I've since moved on to other projects and I'm also moving out of the garage I've been renting so I'm putting it up for sale. I've put many many hours of work into this machine and used only the best parts and materials I could find. It is a 2' x 4' machine but I also built a 2' x 2' platen and a 2' x 3' platen. They are interchangeable so you can use whichever size accommodates your current part best. The oven is set up in two zones, an inner zone and an outer zone so if you're only forming on the 2' x 2' platen you don't need to have the whole 2' x 4' oven turned on, please refer to the pictures. The oven elements were bought as a kit form the Proto-Form website and the machine has a high quality ... moreGast vacuum pump. The machine rolls around very easily and smoothly on 4 swivel caster wheels which you can lock once the machine is in the location you want. I have the machine wired so that the ovens are two separate circuits that plug into two different 30 amp feeds. The vacuum pump and fans are wired to simply plug into a standard outlet. The machine is wired this way because the place I was renting happened to have two 30 amp plugs already there but you can configure the wiring however you like. The machine is still there so it can be fully powered up and tested. It is built with a 2 stage vacuum system to get the maximum draw and detail. The little black handle next to the control panel operates a spring loaded valve which opens the large vacuum tank and evacuates almost all the air immediately so the vacuum pump can pull hard against your part/pattern while the material is still very hot and malleable. The vacuum tank is made from a repurposed propane tank so it does emit a slight propane odor while the pump is on. That never bothered me but if you think it might bother you, you could put a charcoal filter or other effective filter on the exhaust port of the pump. I did
