Used MUD Inserts 5 X 8- 08/09 SSU 224- A&B plates 1 7/8 I believe these are P-20 steel but not for sure.Could also be 4140 HT. Definately machinable with carbide. Both A&B plates have water lines drilled and tapped for 1/8 NPT. The pattern is drawn in black marker. 4 Reamed holes for return pins. Parting line vents, and 2 tapped holes for pillars already done. If you have a small part that could fit between water lines this could be a big cost savings for you. Cut a new pocket. Replace with a new insert and put in your new cavity and core.
