I was going to use these but they're just the wrong size for what I planned. Ah well! A lovely set of 8 amber phenolic drawer handles/ pulls- they measure 7.5cms long x 1.5cms wide and 0.8cms thick. One of them has a chip on the underside edge but apart from that they are in really nice condition with only some natural colour variation and light scuffing to mention.

Stunning pair of amber swirled phenolic handles- they measure 16cms long and are 1.9cms thick. They are round but slightly faceted too. The handles themselves are in excellent condition but there is quite a lot of wear to the chrome fittings- I'm sure these could be replaced quite easily anyway.

2 x deco amber yellow phenolic catalin bakelite chrome door handles pulls
A nice pair of large handles measuring 19cms long and 2cms across- the surfaces have been cleaned by the previous owner to reveal the blonde/ yellow original colour- this is slightly harder to find than the more usual butterscotch swirl. It gives off the normal chemical smell when rubbed. There are a couple of small indentations but no chips or cracks. The chrome fittings are well worn and would need replacing or a good seeing to with some wire wool. Thanks for looking and please check out my other phenolic lots.

Deco chrome and green phenolic / catalin / bakelite candlesticks candle holders
A fabulous pair of deco candlesticks made with a very heavy grade chrome and green phenolic for the stems. They are in great condition with only a few small scuffs to the chrome and one very small fingernail like indent on one green stem. Typically there is a two tone effect to the phenolic; I've never had a pair of these that didn't show the colour variation half way down.

vintage art deco jewelry cigarette box with phenolic bakelite YZ bird figure size: 4.25 x 3.25 x 4.25" condition& details: very good condition for age. box is wooden with what looks like bakelite panels on the outside however these look like they have some kind of lacquer over them- there is no colour when tested with simichrome. there are a few areas on the box where the exterior panels has very slightly come away from the wood. looks like box would have originally been a vivid green but it has discoloured with age. More so on the lid than the main box. there is a small split where 2 pieces of the resin meet on the lid- there are a few flea bites along the left edge of the lid. there is a small crack- 0.5" length- on the front right corner of the main section of the box. This area is completely solid and is only visible when ... morethe lid is open- inside the box is clean with no bad smells. there are a couple of small rust spots to the hinge but the hinge is in good working order. the bird is in very good condition with no chips. When tested with simichrome he gives off a nicotine colour typical for bakelite. looks like he has glass eyes. there appears to have been some kind of varnish/lacquer over the bird which has worn away in places. looks like the bird would have been glued on at some point. He can be removed at the moment but does sit very firmly in the hole in the top of the lid. branded on the base'YZ trade mark made in england' detailed pics are available on request. 452g of scrap green / amber phenolic catalin bakelite - old deco clock case
These pieces used to form a clock case but might now be more useful for scrap purposes. The phenolic has darkened over the years and although it looks to be an amber colour I am quite sure it started out as green. This is more noticeable on the clock frame than on the old base. The base oblong measures 200 x 47 x 9mm and apart from the screw holes there is no damage at all. The frame piece measures 160 x 130 x 21mm. It has an obvious crack at the bottom and several internal cracks and lines. There are also three small screw holes that lead from the inside ring through to the outside edge and there are a few small fleabite nicks also but it has plenty of usable phenolic I'm sure. Deco Carvacraft amber phenolic / bakelite / catalin inkwell pen stand.
A stunning Carvacraft double inkwell/ penstand made from a swirled butterscotch coloured phenolic- it weighs 950g and is in super condition- the only flaws to mention are a very small nick to the corner of one of the well covers and another nick to the back edge. There is also a 12mm hairline that lies on the left side in the pen groove, it is almost impossible to see and certainly doesn't detract. Thanks for looking and please take time to view my other lots which include more phenolic items. I am happy to combine postage when possible and the weight of parcel allows. Shipping to Turkey will have to be tracked and signed for and will cost £18.50
