For sale we have a fully assembled Reprap Prusa Mendle V2 I purchased and assembled this reprap was assembled completely( except for rods) from parts purchased through Maker Farm it has many upgrades as well including: linear bearings. Greg's accessible extruder, Stainless Steel Smooth Rods, professionally hobbed bolt, and heated bed for using ABS. It also comes with a 3lb spool of grey PLA and 1lb of blue ABS this alone cost $70. I played with this machine for awhile however lost interest in it. I have about $850 invested plus the time required for assembly. This is a 3D printer I built a while back. I built it as a test bed for a few different types of material and just to see how useful the parts could be. It really does help with prototyping metal parts that I make on my other machines. The parts are also quite useful. I was pleasantly surprised. This printer is made from top of the line parts. It is SAE linear bearing type ways. It has stainless steel rods. Threaded rods, washers and nuts. It is completely assembled and calibrated. I have a build log for it on the CNC Zone. Just ask if you need the link. This comes complete including the IBM R40 laptop. The only thing missing is the charger for the laptop. It failed on me. But they are all over EBAY for cheap. It is loaded with Windows XP and has all the drive software, some files that I have printed, settings etc to run the hardware. The ... moreboard is a Gen 6 board and is connected by USB cable to the laptop. Everything is plug and play on this machine. It is as ready to go as can be(once the Laptop charger is in place) It comes with a heated bed with a digital thermostat control. It has an SSR for it's control. The Power supply is a 12 VDC 30 amp supply. This machine has a steel bed with insulation good to over 2000 degrees F. It has 1/4" thick borosilicate glass for the printing bed. Also a nice heavy duty thermocoupler. Heat bed heats up quickly. The extruder works very well also. This will come with lots of spare parts that I just won't need. You may find them useful. Extra belting. Thermocouplers and hot end parts, etc. Even a roll of blue painters tape that I use for PLA. I will include a couple of spools of 3mm plastic filament. This will ship free in the US Only. If you have never used one of these before. There is quite a learning curve, so be aware of that. I will try to help you as much as possible. The unit works fine it just requires a certain'touch' to tweak it to its proper productivity and I honestly havent the time. In the photos I have an example of a print immediately after assembly as well as after my initial tweaks. Used PrusaNozzle Prusa Nozzle - all metal hot end, working with ABS only
I have a v1 PrusaNozzle that I no longer want. I've gotten it to work with ABS fine over a range of temperatures. But not with Nylon like I was hoping, and I've heard it's not great for PLA. I suspected the thermistor had gone out. So I machined a hole for a#5 thermistor as you can see. The unit comes as you see. Fully assembled with the thermistor and full length(~1M) of wire for the thermistor and heater, ready to go. I can't guarantee it will work with anything but ABS. But I've heard plenty of people printing lots of materials with it, so I'm hoping someone with more experience with it can make use of it. FULLY ASSEMBLED Modded Prusa I3 8" 3D Printer - Prints great!
Up for bids is my very new and modified Makerfarm Prusa I3. This is my 3rd printer and the wife says thats 1 too many. This kit started a month or so ago as a standard Makerfarm 8" kit with LCD. Since them added a very nice Dell 18amp digital power supply and I have a couple of pieces of bed glass that will go with this auction( I can't guarantee the glass will arrive unbroken, but your hardware store will cut you 8" squares of glass very cheaply) This printer is setup to use 1.75mm filament NOT 3mm It is equipped with a J-head nozzle. Modifications that I have made to the original kit include: I printed my own Wades accessible extruder with herringbone gears. extruder printed for 1.75mm) A 50mm bed fan(along with the 40mm extruder fan) Added quick connectors to fans and to extruder Printed new X axis ends with a belt tension ... moreadjuster and Z axis adjustment(originals included) Changed the Z axis to 10-32 rods(flexy rods are giving me smoother prints: I have a simple heatsink zip-tied to the X-axis stepper motor. Just to help keep it cool I completely removed the power connectors the ramps board and soldered the power supply directly to the board. Then I updated the headed bed wires to larger AWG pieces- the heated bed now heats very quickly and reaches 110 without issue. Added a gold-plated set of connectors to the power supply so you can disconnect easily for moving your printer. NOTE: I use a standard camera tripod(not included) to hold my filament while its printing and it works great. But the kit doesn't come with a filament holder. RepRap Prusa i3 - built, calibrated and operational
RepRap Prusa i3(with LC wood frame) spec. as per kit I sell(ebay item 151277156144) But with hot end upgraded to an E3D all-metal hot end. This printer is assembled. Calibrated, and operational(see test print on bed) It has been used to reliably print many parts for customers' kits. For some reason the USB cable has to remain plugged into the computer for it to run. Hence selling to free up space for a printer that can run stand-alone. It has an SD card reader(SD RAMPS) so that's not an issue. S traight-forward re-flashing of the firmware didn't help with allowing stand-alone printing. But it may yet be an easy thing to remedy. Of course if you are happy to leave the USB plugged in, this won't be an issue. Will do my best to pack it well for shipping. Assembled Reprap Prusa Mendel 3d printer with autolevel
I was given a partial Reprap Prusa Mendel. This machine only need electronics and an extruder to get started. This machine has 4 Nema Motors(x.Y,z) Prusa pcb heated bed. What was upgraded before it wasgifted to me was Loches z axis upgrade(google thingiverse loches zaxis upgrade) for the top triangle brackets This originally was a bowden style printer. Metal t5 pulleys and belts, as well as metal zaxis couplers. Prevous Owner also printed out a switch panel for ledlights he installed and a fan control. From what he has given me the only items that i know have any issue is two cracked bar clamps and a slightly warped x carriage. This is a great beginner kit. Through ebay, craigslist and local hackerspace(s)forums i have been able together a few more items for this build. The gregs extruder(googlethingiverse gregs extruder) was given to me ... morebecause of warp on the bottom and a cracked idler arm. I used a heater to flatten it the best i could and mounted it with Zip ties to level it out. Another item i was given was sanguinololu 1.3 electronics that was subjected to too much power. I replaced the blown 35v capatistor and the all the stepper drivers. After doing that the electronics controlled all elements but the heated bed's thermistor. I found the broken lead and soldered a new connector and bridged it. With the electronics and extruder i Invested in a Hotend. And in all the trial and error process i have had with my friends printer and what i read on the forums the most common failure in hotends is the peek liner starts to leak. So i went with Josef Prusa's All stainless steel Hot End(google prusa nozzle) $100 dollar value) With this and very little calibration i was able to print a temporary Idler arm and a raspberrypi case. UPDATE 2-14-14 I was able to purchase an arduino and ramps 1.4 with drivers fairly cheap and a servo. Currently the neat wiring is undone to replace the Sanginololu and configure the servo autolevel. And another hotend was given to me a j-head clone. I had issues with pla printing cons

Recently Purchased. MakerFarm prusa Mendel i3v NO RESERVE! This printer uses extruded aluminum rails. It is also the newer version frame design of the Prusa mendel- these two design upgrades make this machine ROCK SOLID! This printer runs near perfect and has been calibrated to perfection, however, you may need to replace the J-head hot end and the gears on the extruder. I have been getting filament jams about 15 to 30 mins into every print. I believe the inside of the nozzle has some burn deposits that are hard to get out and end up backing up the flow. It's possible that I just don't know how to fix this problem as well. The only other flaw with this printer is that you will notice a broken piece at the top of the wooden frame. It is a small fracture where the filament mount was to be attached. It does not effect the printer's ... morefunction in any way. Still prints awesome! You can order a new piece from Colin at MakerFarm if you wish to return to 100% condition. You will also find build instructions and all other info about the printer on his website if you have anything you need to reference. This is for 1.75mm filament and is for a 12V system. Comes with various tips( 35 currently mounted. Fan& other misc accessories for this specific installation. This item was used and worked beautifully. As you can see from my other listings I've been forced to upgrade and no longer have any use for these items. This hot end does have some signs of use on the tip and may need to be heated to extrude some plastic remnants in tip. Not a big issue. Just a heads up to you. This is honestly the best nozzle I've ever used but will not fit my UM2.

Prusa i3 3D Printer Assembled Needs Code
This auction is for an assembled Prusa i3 Printer. I bought the kit and put it together. But the software code for the audrino board that was included did not run the servos correctly. I have been working on a fix, but decided that I wanted to go a different route with 3d printing and get myself a dual extruder printer. Which leaves this one up for sale. As I have siad before, this will not work out of box, but is assembled. There are extra parts that are included, they are the picture of the ziplock bag. Another issue is that when I received the kit, the rear support where the power supply is suppose to live was cracked. I have put on a temporary fix which is the aluminium plates that can be seen in the photos. The people I bought the printer from sent me a new support, it will be included but I have not installed it.
