I purchased this for a project at work that never got started, but now that my company has closed for business, I have to sell it. I bought it used off of someone from eBay, but never removed it from the packaging/pallet. It still looks to be in very good condition. The pictures you see of it on a table were the pictures taken from the previous owner before shipping it to me. Since I don't have the time to remove it from the pallet( or the strapping materials to restrap it after) and take new pictures. I included those just for your reference. Plastic injection mold machine / Works, leaks air
2/3 oz Emco plastic injection mold machine.I had to put for parts because it leaks air.Finding these for sale is rare. Ive seen these sell on Ebay for over 2 grand. When the guy shipped it to me. The on off switch got bent, still works, and the thermostate swich got broke, so I bought a new themostate with ajustable controls and bought the kind that you use a screw driver to put in, a blade type and turn, I got that kind becuase when the temp is right, you dont need to adjust it, but its still ez to adjust.There is a small light bulb and the cover is broke on it, the cover is about 1/2 inches in diiamiter. The unit leaks a little air.Not a lot. I ask a guy and he said that it was probably all coroded inside, I thought maybe he was right,so I took the 4 bolts lose and looked inside, its in great shape.The heaters work, the thermostate is recently ... morereplaced.Nothing is cracked, rusted, ect.I think it could use some new o rings.It still functions. The base has a hole in the back.They originally had an air modle, and a lever modle. Put a lever on it if you like. rebuild the air unit, whatever. These take restarunt equipment parts, so the heaters and thermostates are always availible if needed. Emco made great stuff.This isnt a cheap import, top of the line for proto types and small parts. comes with some molds. Item is as described. I found old ebay listings for these, you can look one up and see what they said about these units. 1981 Boy 15s Plastic Injection Molding Machine with 5x8 MUD Frame
This auction is for 1 used Boy 15S Plastic Injection Molding Machine with 5x8 Master Unit Die Base(MUD) in working condition. We have only cycled this machine a few times and everything seemed to work but it does have a few hydraulic leaks. 1 there's a leak on one of the carriage cylinders and there is a leak near the motor. See pictures. The leak at the carriage cylinder will have to be fixed before it can be used. We will include the seals for the carriage cylinder but we haven't determined where the leak is around the motor.
