You can see by looking at both sides of the element that it is not burnt out and there are no burnt ... moreareas on the heating coils This is a used element but shows no signs of being faulty. If you are replacing a burnt out element you will know it is burnt out when you take it out, The coils will be burnt thru and not go from one screw around to the other screw, You can physically see the burnt out element coil.
