ANTIQUE 1920'S F AND E LIGHTNING CHECK WRITER SERIES 800 HEDMAN MFG You are bidding on a F& E Lightning 800 series check writer. This is a very neat little piece and is dated 1915-1920. The last date on it is 1920 and says patent pending. Everything seems to work on it. Although it's a little stiff. It could definately use some TLC, but I don't think it would take a lot to get it there. As you can see in the pictures, the paint has come off the bottom and it is starting to surface rust(there isn't anything that is rusted totally off or out) There is also surface rust on the chrome piece that lifts up. It has all the original tags on it which is always a plus. It has most of the directions on the bottom of it, as I have pictured below. Again, I think if it had a little oil and someone that knew what they were doing and ... morecould CLEAN it up good, it would be perfectly functional. I can see some fuzzies inside of it, but have no idea how to get them out without taking it totally apart. I will leave that to someone who knows what they are doing with it. This is a Paymaster Check writing machine. It is model X2000. I believe it was made around 1963. It appears to be in good condition but it has not been used in a long time. The handle pulls down and it feels like the imprinter is moving but I do not know how to open it. It does not make an impression on a piece of paper. Be aware that it might need some repairs.

Up for auction we have the Paymaster Series S-1000 Check Writer. It is the vintage avocado green with a bright green handle. The levers all move with ease. The“clear” lever works to bring the display back to zeroes, and the key actually locks the handle in place when turned. The inside looks pretty clean. The back has“Carl’s Drive-In” written on it in black marker. I do not know where this might have been located. The outside may need to be cleaned up a bit. Rare Vintage Old Antique Paymaster Series 700 Writer Check Machine Made in USA
This is a really cool vintage check making machine. Overall it's in good condition and it appears to still work. The buttons work and the handle still moves. But I have no way to fully test that it still works. There are some pieces missing from the bottom and it does have a dent on one of the corners. PAYMASTER CHECK WRITER This vintage working desk top machine needs a little cleaning but still prints the numbers on paper. It stands 6-3/4 inches tall& the base is 8-1/2 x 7-1/2 inches. The handle pulls down& returns very smoothly. All seven nobs on the front easily move up& down changing the number in the windows. The underside panel looks like it was removed from being bolted down. It has a large rough sharp area of broken metal. This item weighs 12 pounds 8 ounces unpacked. This item is in very nice clean gently used condition with some normal light rubbings. Scratches, paint loss, light corrosion& some dust in the nooks. Stored in a loving smoke free home. The other side has adjuster knobs. I assume for the plate, That measure 1- 4 inches. Also a switch for clear and repeat. The front has the money levers with 7 digits of check writing ability.
