UP FOR AUCTION: STRIKING CREAM. BLUE AND SILVER PAYMASTER RIBBON WRITER SERIES 8000 Let's start with the bad stuff: this Paymaster does have some wear and tear. The paint is scratched in several places. The final"cent" knob is missing from the front, a lever and knob from the left side appear to be missing, there is no key, and it appears that there is no nameplate holder. The levers with the missing knobs still move as intended; it just takes more work! That said. All the levers and numbers slide easily and the numbers print clearly. The interior is surprisingly clean and the ribbon looks in good shape. The molded silver handle looks like new and there are no dents or dings to be found anywhere on the machine. This unit is in outstanding condition with very few indications of wear. The unit works(see sample amount printed) in fact it operates very smoothly and has its original protective cover. It is a sea foam green and looks very mid-century/modern in its overall design. The only thing missing is the key.
