Up for auction we have the Paymaster Series S-1000 Check Writer. It is the vintage avocado green with a bright green handle. The levers all move with ease. The“clear” lever works to bring the display back to zeroes, and the key actually locks the handle in place when turned. The inside looks pretty clean. The back has“Carl’s Drive-In” written on it in black marker. I do not know where this might have been located. The outside may need to be cleaned up a bit. There is one larger rust spot on the back left corner. Please see photos. Notes: This item was donated to a charitable organization and I am selling it for them. PAYMASTER CHECK WRITER This vintage working desk top machine needs a little cleaning but still prints the numbers on paper. It stands 6-3/4 inches tall& the base is 8-1/2 x 7-1/2 inches. The handle pulls down& returns very smoothly. All seven nobs on the front easily move up& down changing the number in the windows. The underside panel looks like it was removed from being bolted down. It has a large rough sharp area of broken metal. This item weighs 12 pounds 8 ounces unpacked. This item is in very nice clean gently used condition with some normal light rubbings. Scratches, paint loss, light corrosion& some dust in the nooks. Stored in a loving smoke free home.
