Paymaster 9000-9 Used but still in good cosmetic and working condition. Some minor scratches here and there. There is a small dent on the left side of the number windows(Second last picture) The cap which covers the bolt and nut of the handle is loose. Hedman 2300 & 5000 Check Imprinter Protector and Signer Dater w/ Keys and Cords
Hedman 2300 Series Check Imprinter/ Protector plus 5000 Series Check Signer/ Dater Includes all power cables and Keys This is a used Hedman Check printing system. I powered the unit on. But don't have the knowledge to test further. I wasn't able to make the 2300 portion do anything, and the power light illuminates on the 5000 when powered up. I have 2 complete sets of keys for the system: 2 keys for the 2300 keylock 2 keys for the"Operator" lock on the 5000 2 keys for the"Master" lock on the 5000 2 key for the access panel on the 5000 All the keys work in their respective locks. The master lock cylinder is loose in the housing(the key operates the mechanism coorectly. It just seems like the cylinder needs to be tightened into the housing) All the power cords are included. There is a black connector cord permanently ... moreattached to the 2300 unit that plus into the back of the 5000 unit. There is a short power cord that plus from the 2300 to the back of the 5000. Finally. There is a power cord that plugs into the back of the 5000, and then into a standard wall outlet. The 5000 unit is screwed into a metal base. And the 2300 fits onto 2 standoffs on the same base(right next to the 5000. There is also a padded base that fits underneath the metal base. There is also a"Hedman" branded dust cover for the unit. It is in good overall shape. But is torn on one of the side panels(no material is missing, and it can probably be taped back into position) Although the unit seems to be in good condition. It is being offered strictly"As-is" since I cannot fully test, and no returns will be accepted. As such, please ask any question prior to bidding. This is a Paymaster S-1000 Check Protector/ Check stamping machine from my personal collection. I have had it for years. And taken good care of it. Unfortunately I do not have space for it any more, and it is time for it to go to a new home. It's a great looking item. And it draws attention where ever it goes. It is in full working order, all of the adjustments work, and it even still has ink left in it. The ink is old and faded, though. The ink can be replenished by opening the front panel. The key is missing. But the machine is unlocked, meaning it is fully operational without the key. The key allows the unit to be locked to prevent it from being operated. This machine is completely mechanical- no batteries, no electrical cords. The levers adjust the amount of money in dollars and cents(up to 99999 dollars and 99 cents) And the lever ... moreon the right side stamps a check. The amount of money selected on the display is the amount stamped and printed on the check. It uses a heavy emboss and perforation stamp to ensure the stamp can not be modified. The item is marked this on the cover showing this is an item made in the U.S.A. from Chicago. Il. All of reels on the front for dollars and cents move properly. The numbers are not visible in the meter due to age and wear. The handle on the right seems to be locked into place and I am unsure how to unlock it at this time. This Check Protector is in good condition, but has been used in my business for several years. I was the only person using the machine and I was the only person cleaning the machine and loading the ink into it. I have never had any problem with the machine but no longer have a use for it. The one thing I enjoyed about this machine over some of the other models is the"table" that you place the check very nice, smooth chrome and gives you the ability to get the check just where you want it when placing it to be"stamped" or registered. The machine works well, is clean and is ready for use. This machine has not be abused or misused. I have taken good care of it because ... morewhen I needed it, I needed it! Up for sale is a Paymaster 9000(9000-8) Check Protector/ Printer. The printer is in great working condition and ribbon levels appear to be good(see test print picture) The unit includes the operator's manual. Information card on changing the ribbon, and two keys(the unit locks for protection) The unit does have some scuffs on it from normal office use(see pictures) There also appears to be red wax or glue on the front of the unit(see pictures) possibly from the reconditioning of the unit. This is a reconditioned unit(there is a reconditioned by Paymaster label is on the bottom of the unit) that was used in an office environment for a few months after being reconditioned. Please note that no ink ribbons are included except for the one that is already in the machine(which appears to be good still)
