Sherline 5400 milling machine with 3 Sanyo Denki large stepper motors attached. No control system or software included. Only the mill and stepper motors ready for you to add your own motor control/software/computer. This is a lightly used CNC capable milling machine. It already has the new stepper motors mounted and all it needs is to be hooked up to your own stepper motor control. Control software, and computer. I've had it running to test it out using my own controls and it runs very smoothly. Included tooling; flycutter. 3 collets, drill chuck, boring head. The motors have the external shaft that allows the Sherline handwheels to still be used making it both a manual and CNC capable mill. The Sanyo Denki motors are very strong motors. Larger than any other Sherline CNC setup there is. Other Sherline CNC conversions use 136 oz-in motors, ... morethis one uses 180 oz-in. There is no problem lifting the vertical Z axis head with this mill! The motors are Sanyo Denki 233-180-DU: 180 oz-in. torque, 2.75 volts DC, 3 Amps, 1.8 degree, 6 wire unipolar, This mill will not have a connector on the ends of the motor wires since your control system will have a unique hookup arrangement that you will use. You will need to add your own extension wires and connectors to the short motor wires. The mill is lightly used and in very good condition. In the photos you see some small silver dots along the center of the mill table. These are not machining damage. Rather they are from the ends of clamping bolts that passed through an additional tooling plate I had on top the table. When I tightened down the clamp bolts they sometimes hit the table and marked it.

Steel Pedestal for Sherline Lathe
At auction is a sturdy. Well-made steel pedestal for a standard length Sherline lathe. The pedestal raises the lathe 4-1/4 inches higher, which turns out to be useful on standard height workbenches. It also makes it easier to use the handwheels on the lead screw and cross feed. The bottom of the pedestal is 3/16" steel. And the weight of the stand- around 12 pounds- provides enough stability that the lathe does not need to be clamped for most jobs. Sherline 4000 Lathe, badged as Craftsman
Sherline lathes have been sold by several retailers. Most notably Sears. Those retailers usually put their badge on, and left everything else original. This is one that is badged as Craftsman. All parts are Sherline parts, and any replacement parts can be ordered from Sherline. This was my personal lathe. And I went over all parts, replacing those that seemed badly worn. The cross slide table is almost new and is the longer size because I found it conventient to be able to move the toolpost more places. I was able to turn mild steel and achieve a good finish. The lathe comes with a scroll chuck. A tailstock drill chuck, two tommy bars, and a key for the tailstock chuck. The tailstock chuck key is very rusty. The toolpost is not original; it was originally a Taig toolpost. The handwheels may be mismatched- they are all Sherline, but have different ... morefinger posts. I have used this lathe quite a lot. And don't know of any problems. The speed control is the old version, and you do have to turn it up, then back down after it's running smoothly when you start at low speeds; that's pretty common with the older units. This lathe will be partially disassembled for shipping. The head stock and tailstock will be removed. And the leadscrew handwheel will be taken off. All this is to prevent damage during shipping. If you are not comfortable putting these back together, please don't bid.

Vintage Sherline Rotary Table mill milling attachment mini lathe workhold tool
for auction a vintage Sherline rotary table. It is in good hardly used condition. there is no evidence of user wear and tear and no signs of abuse. The table operates smoothly. The adjusting handle is in good shape. No sloppyness. The diameter of the table is 4' and the tool stands 4 3/4' as pictured. There is some dried oil and grime in the clamping grooves. There is a comple spots of very minor surface rust. There is some minor corrosion and the black sides and parts due to poor storage. There is no pitting any where and nothing is frozen or stuck. vintage Sherline Vertical Milling Column attachment & another lathe accessory
for auction is a used sherline vertical milling attachment column and another sherline lathe accessory. These are a recent estate find. They are in good used condition. everything is operational. There is some surface rust on the column that will clean off easily. But will leave a stain on the exposed metal. There is some corrosion on the aluminum adjustment wheels that will clean off as well, leaving the aluminum slightly discolored. Nothing is broken or repaired. I don't believe these tools were used much, and the only real issue is the poor storage surface rust. The other sherline accessory is to be mounted on something. Sherline Indexing dividing head fixture mini micro lathe accessory model 3200 ?
up for auction is a sherline indexing head with face plate. Bead and tail stock. It is a recent estate fine and it is as found. It has some surface rust on the bed due to poor storage( top& bottom) see pictures. It is minor surface rust and will clean off easily, but it will leave a stain on the metal, but no pitting. The tail stock operates. The indexing button on the head stock does what it should do. It is a good usable tool that just need some clean up. I believe this is a model 3200 but I am not sure. any information will be appreciated. All that you see is all that I found for this tool. Sherline Lathe Milling Column Attachment, Excellent
I no longer need this milling column attachment for my Sherline Lathe. As I invested in a dedicated Sherline milling machine. It is Sherline part number 3480 that retails for $170. There is nothing wrong with it at all. In fact, it has a bonus of a digital readout wheel installed already, so if you have a digital readout for your lathe, you can just plug this in and have digital readout in the Z axis as well. Of course, it works fine with manual readout as well. The column is complete in its original box. Shipping will run $15 by USPS Priority Mail anywhere in the US. Foreign buyers will need to wait for a shipping quote. There will be reduced shipping on combined purchases.
