Montgomery Wards Amplifier Head- Silvertone Twin
Vintage Wards Amplifier Head. Quad 6L6 dual-mono 80 watt amplifier. Heavy amp due to the size of the monster transformers! Amplifier has been cleaned and works well. Including reverb. Reverb tank is inside under the chassis. All tubes appear to be original including the quad set of RCA Blackplate 6L6's. Tubes alone are very valuable. Amp plays nicely. Just mild scratchiness with some of the pots, but should be easily remedied. The wiring and electronic layout under the hood is very clean and I cannot find evidence that it has ever been altered or serviced, although I cannot guarantee it. It is very clean under there. Face plate has wear and age, and the tolex is a bit dirty, but is in good shape. The amp is missing the original plastic face plate light diffuser, but the lamps work(basically christmas bulbs! and provides a very unique ... morelook when lit. This amp is very similar in design and wattage to a Silvertone Twin Twelve amplifier a la Jack White. The amp can get very loud. Sold as-is, no returns. Sales and shipping to continental US only. Airline Resoglas folkster, the montgomery wards Supro
This is basically the montgomery ward version of the supro resoglas folk star or folkster maybe 1964. Note the W or M soundholes. I think its original, its got a burgundyish sparkle paint on the head and a burgundy rusty paint on reso cover, has some tarnish on tailpiece, and I just discovered the head may have a crack repair that seems fine, Ive been playing it about 3 years and its really cool. Basic alligater finish here and there hey its really old. I just bought a duolian so I thought I should let something go. Oh yeah very clever adjustable neck heighth. Nice toinky tone.

It looks almost like it has never been used. But I DID use it several years ago while camping. It hasn't been lit recently. VINTAGE MONTGOMERY WARDS LANTERN
Up for bid is a vintage Montgomery Wards outdoor lantern. The pictures show the Montgomery Wards name with a circle and MW emblem. I could not find a model number. But the bottom has a huge raised star. There is some paint starting to peel away, but I could not find any rust or holes in the body of it. It was found stored away in an old cabin. There is no fuel in it. Everything still functions, the lever lifts the glass to ingnite, and the wick still can be moved up and down. I did not want to completely clean it and risk taking away from the character of it, and I did not try to fuel or light it. Although I believe it is still fully functional, I cannot guarantee it. The glass has no breaks, chips or cracks. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions as I may have unintentionally omitted an important detail. This bicycle seems to have had a halfhearted effort to restore it. Notice the newer chainguard. Tires, and maybe even the fenders. The frame has been painted a black color- not professionally done though. Looks rattlecanned. Its slightly attractive- better than rust, but its not perfect. It was stripped and primered, but its not a quality job. Good choice for a rat rod. notice the dent in the top tube- right on top. We packed everything away and put the house up for sale after fixing it up. Now that we are finished with that, I will be listing the treasures we found there along with all of our treasures. The experience of seeing my neighbors house so full because she collected and treasured everything for all her life made me realize that my house could someday look the same if I just keep collecting as I have and if I don't let anything go. It was so sad that no one in her family wanted her things. It made me wonder what our family would do with all of what we treasure. So, my husband and I are slowly and reluctantly parting with our favorite treasures and our newly acquired ones.

Vintage 1973 Montgomery Wards Christmas Catalog. Found in my attic stored in a chest full of vintage toys and similar in my house I recently purchased. It is dated 1973. And is a Montgomery Ward's Christmas Catalog from that era. I had fun researching the catalog: I did recognize the Old Shirley Temple doll so I decided to have it researched. I was told by a local antique store owner that she has great luck selling vintage and antique dolls. Especially the higher collectible Barbie dolls from a earlier era. Using that information I photographed the Barbie items and other dolls in this catalog. However there are many more items in this catalog from the 1970's era. Clothes. electronics, novelty items and more. The catalog is missing the back cover and does show it's age but the binding is sound. I had the owner of the antique store ... moreowner look at it. H44 Harmony Stratotone Montgomery Wards Model Electric Guitar
Very neat Montgomery Wards Harmony H44 from the 1950's. Pickguard has a repaired crack(on corner. By tone pot) The original input jack plate and end pin are missing but otherwise everything else appears original. Instrument is in very good playing condition. The solid one-piece design has held up well over the last 60 years. The neck is straight and the action is comfortable-about 3/16" off the top fret. There's quite a bit of paint flaking off and some wear on the neck but no deep scratches or gouges. Comes with chipboard case.

Very clean. Nice little Marlboro Soundworks/Montgomery Wards practice Amp Model#9110. It's tiny but mighty for an amp this size. Sound great. The Pots are a little scratchy on the volume and tone only when adjusting. When set, there is no scratchiness. Probably just needs a little contact spray. Available at Radio Shack. The red light is intermittent- sometimes on sometimes not- very minor. Just thought I would mention it. VINTAGE MONTGOMERY WARDS 62 9031 Very very clean and all original Montgomery ward airline tube amp 62-9031 harmonica and guitar amp. Nothing quite sounds like the old tube amps. This is great for recording and private low key jams and brilliant for a bit of harp as well as guitar. Its about 5 watts, 8 inch jensen(2207xx) which makes it about a'67, simple 1 volume operation. This is identical to the supro bantam amp by Valco and its all intact and ready to play! The Wards is the tan one, next to a supro bantam both amps use a 12ax7 and 50L6 tubes and are solid state. It is hand painted with white roses and green leafs inside the tray and a gold design on the border. There is impressed number 5934 on the side of the bottom. The bottom is also marked with number 47 in gold and MWCo. handpainted Made in Germany(Montgomery Ward mark of U.S. importer and dealer) The tray is 11 3/4 inches long. 4 7/8 inches wide and 1 1/2 inch deep. It is in very good condition with minimum wear. There is some rough spot under the handle. But it could be manufactory fault- a small spot has no glaze. I am not sure if this was originally sold at a Montgomery Wards store, or if Ward's Spices was it's own company.I couldn't find any information on it. It measures approx. 5 1/2" tall, 3" wide across the top, with a 2 3/4" base. It is in good vintage condition with one teensy tiny tear on the paper, and it's a bit wrinkly, and has some discoloration from age, but the graphics still look great! The tin part has some rust, but not too awful bad. Not quite sure how to clean that, so will leave that up to the new owner. There is still a very small amount of cinnamon in it.
