Lightly used JET Wood lathe model JWL-1236. Featuring a 3/4 horsepower motor and heavy-duty cast-iron lathe bed. Headstock swivels 360° with positive stops at 45° and 90°. I’ve had this machine for close to 20 years but it hasn’t seen any use in the last 10. It has six speed settings. It runs. But needs a new rubber belt in order to use all the speed settings. This lathe does not have the sheet metal stand that originally came with the unit. I found that the stand allowed the unit to vibrate too much so I removed the legs and mounted it directly to a larger bench which worked much better. This unit is being sold without a stand. I have a couple extra accessories including a large 4” chuck for mounting wood stock as well as a couple different centers for the end-stock. Owner's Manual is included. This machine needs the feed gears i belive 30 and 60 and you should replace the one plasti gear. i manual head feed. i bougt this machine on ebay for about 8 yesrs ago i used a hand full of times. i think she is in good shape other than the gears.And maybe a new belt. i am selling her local pick up. I could deliver her to you if you are resonaby close to me. wife says get it out. please bear in mind this is the first time im selling on ebay.
