Old massive piece of machinery. Worked when put out of service. Motor works good and quiet. Spindle turns smoothly. Both sides of the table move up and down as should. Fence adjustments are solid. There was an oiler installed on one side of the spindle but it was broken up and the inlet was all worn out. I have rethreaded the port and put a plastic plug. The Porter Style A 30" Jointer with Baldor 7.5Hp, 240V Motor
Listed for sale is a Porter 30" jointer I purchased a few years ago with intentions of using it in my shop but it never happened. It is in excellent condition for its age and I was told it was used everyday until 2009 when I bought it. I included a picture taken from the backside in the shop from which I bought it and it did indeed ran very smoothly. The reason I am selling it is I am moving to a smaller place and do not have room. The Baldor 7.5 hp motor that is included is 3 phase. If you need a converter. I have a very good one that I would be willing to sell with it. Just ask me for the details. It is a extremely heavy piece of machinery, maybe pushing 2500 pounds. I do have a forklift and will help load it, but shipping is up to you. I will not arrange it for you.
