Yanmar YDG5500E-E never used! First time added fuel to it this weekend and immediately started with a turn of the key. This is a commercial quality generator for a work truck or to power a cabin. It's diesel so you don't have to worry about short run times or heavy loads. This was stored in a shed for two years and has some surface rust on the frame. The generator itself was never used and it never had fuel in it until now. It runs beautifully. There is one bolt missing on the pull start housing that does not affect it working. The following item consists of a YANMAR PORTABLE AIR COOLED DIESEL GENERATOR YDG 3700 EV* E. Unit was mounted on a truck we purchased and removed before we sold truck. We are not very familiar with it but even with the little fuel in line the unit turns on with only half turn when battery is connected and only turns off when you turn key to off position. I plugged a drill to outlet and it worked fine. Even though unit starts right up and runs fine without turning off we are not familiar and selling as is. The hour meter reads 152 hours not sure if accurate or not. Yanmar L100AE Winco Diesel Generator 6.5kw 6500 watts
You are bidding on a 6.5kw running/ 7.5kw peak Yanmar-powered generator with electrical by Winco. This generator uses a very reliable Japanese-made. Yanmar 406cc Direct-Injected, air-cooled diesel engine to turn the generator head, which is brand new. The unit has a small computer in it which will automatically control the throttle based on load, shut off in the event of high oil temp or low oil pressure, and runs the starter automatically. It is intended for vehicle mount, so it requires a 12 volt supply, a fuel supply as it has no tank, and does not produce its own 12 volt charging current. It has a Parker/ Racor fuel/water separator on it to be attached to a fuel line. The filter is also brand new. The generator fires right up, with minimal smoke and handles a large load with ease. The engine has only 380 hours on it, and has no leaks ... morewhatsoever. It has a Fumoto oil drain valve for quick and easy oil changes. The wiring on the unit is temporarily hooked up for testing purposes right now. I have it so that it will run two separate 30 amp legs.
