is offering Generac Guardian 17.500 watt gas powered generator( See close up pictures listed below) This listing is for a Generac Ultra Source. Whole house portable generator that will generate 17,500 watts and will go as high as 26,500 surge watts. Generac build the best generators in the business. The generator is gasoline powered and uses a 33 HP engine. I bought this for our home back in 2007 right after a hurricane just missed us. I brought it home. Set it up and tested it out. Then I ran the gas out of it and it has been at my shop up on pallet racking with the box it came in over the top of it to keep the dust off of it ever since. It has less than one hour usage and comes with what you see in the pictures. An oil and air filter, operating and parts manual, the cord and connectors to connect it to you home and 5, 5 gallon red plastic ... moregas cans. I wanted a generator that would keep the food cold in the refrigerator but also power the central air conditioner and the water heater if necessary. We've since moved into a condo and no longer have a need for it. This generator will power the water heater. Central air, dryer and oven at the same time. It is capable of over 70 amps! If you are looking for a generator that will keep up with any demand- this is the one you want. Normally a generator of this size is permanently mounted. This is the largest portable generator Generac makes. My thinking was that if I lost power after a storm for 4 or 5 days there will be heavy. Muggy air and no air conditioning not even a ceiling fan. I'm going to have to sleep at night and I don't know about you but when the air is thick and moist and it's 85 degrees in my bedroom I'm not going to sleep well at all. I can't open the windows- it's still raining. More importantly I have a wife and kids that can't sleep and that ain't fun if you know what I mean. You may get by for a night- maybe two but you read where some folks lose their power for 2 or 3 weeks. Try and find a generator when that happen

15 KW 22.5 KW SURGE PORTABLE GUARDIAN GENERAC ULTRA SOURCE GENERATOR
This was used for about one week to power my home during a power outage. It ran my whole home including Central Air with no issues. Then it was then stored in my barn and started periodically to verify that it would run in a power outage. It has some minor surface rust on hardware but is in sound condition. The carb was rebuilt last year and it had a fresh battery. Only non Ethanol Gasoline has been run through it since the rebuild. You can pick it up locally here in Punta Gorda. This generator is in very good condition. Purchased it a few years ago in an emergency situation during an ice storm. Only used it for 53 hours and then purchase a diesel powered generator because gasoline was hard to come by. I am a farmer and have to buy bulk diesel and had plenty of diesel in storage. This generator starts and runs easily and well. It was stored in a shed with no gas in the tank or carberator. Nice and clean. It is for local pickup only.
