for sale is a very nice generator. its rated at 10KW propane. 8KW on NG. it is run by an ultra reliable Wisconsin air cooled twin cylinder motor. it is electric start. it is a 3 phase, but you can use it for single phase(6600watt) it turns over, and sputters when it starts, but I think I had too many regulators on it and the propane was not getting through, but I'm not exactly what you'd call good with mechanics. if you need it for natural gas, just flip the built in regulator and it will work. I bought this for my cabin, but quickly realized that this is a little too much for a tiny cabin. but I love these Wisconsin engines, so I couldn't pass it up. plan on buying a much smaller(and more sensible) unit with the proceeds. it weighs about 1000lbs if I had to guess. its bolted to a skid with castors to easily move onto to the bed ... moreof a pick up or trailer. This is A great buy. This was only used for one year. And came on line once for a power outage. This is a liquid cooled generator. This means it will run in very cold, and very hot environments. This is a 20,000kw gen. It can run a 5 ton AC unit. The system works and currently can be turned on for demonstration. It works on NG or LP gas. I have approximately two 25lb and two 40lb tanks that are portable and full. I have the indoor outdoor tranfer switch. This is an extra cost when buying any generator. This is a Onan 4.0 kw diesel generator. Has the micro series Kubota diesel engine. Has the number 650 stamped under the injection pump. I assume the engine displacement is 650cc. This unit only has 590 hrs. on it. Has glow plugs for easy starting. Really clean and runs smooth. Has the remote wires so you can run in your house or vehicle to operate it with out ever touching the generator. It generates 120/240 current and was tested. Does not have a muffler installed.
