The front panel was replaced due to damage and the hour meter was replaced. It now shows 3 hours- that was the amount of load testing preformed to assure operation. The serial number and model number were removed when the front panel was replaced. The computer diagnostics showed that it was a 2008 genset. Excellent shape. Runs great. 1991 Kohler 55KW Diesel Generator in Quiet Box Trailer
We are listing a 1991 Kohler Diesel 55KW Generator. The Gen Set is NOT working. It was inadvertently back fed with power and fried the Gen Set. The John Deere engine was replaced in 2010 with a re-manufactured engine and it runs very well. It has an estimated 75 gallon Diesel Fuel Tank. The hours meter does not work. We serviced the engine ourselves regularly. We owned and used this generator for approximately 15 years with great service. The gen set was damaged about 2 years ago. And we never had the time to invest in getting it repaired. We replaced it with another generator. The engine is started every couple of weeks and runs great. It does need a new battery. The trailer is on a single axle frame, and weighs around 4500 lbs. It does not have trailer brakes. The tires are approximately 5 or 6 years old, and should be replaced if being ... moreused frequently or has to travel very far. The Hitch has a large 2 5/16" ball. The box was painted approximately 10 years ago and is now rusting very badly around the bottom of the doors.
