The serial# is 027724920280746AS. It was engineered in the US and manufactured in Mexico. There are also two smaller regular speakers that are 7x5x3 1/2 inches. Those smaller speakers have a bolt hole in the back of them for mounting to a wall or some type of frame. They look great just sitting on a shelf or stand. I hooked the system up and played a CD from the previous owner that was in the Media Center. It sounds great! I think this system was designed before any of the sound bar units were invented and sure sounds better than any sound bar I have ever heard. I have not hooked this system up to a TV. So I have not tested the DVD player, but have no reason to suspect there is a problem with it. I will ship this system in two separate boxes. The sub woofer weighs 24 lbs. and the media center. Small speakers, and cables weigh 16 lbs. The sub woofer will go in one box and all the other items will go in the other box. I am not an audio expert.
