Diesel 10 HP 6.5KW Generator YARMAX excellent condition.
This Generator only has approximately 1 hour of run time on it. I just put in a new 12v tractor battery in March. It starts immediately. And I ran it for 20 minutes under load in March 2013. This Diesel Generator was for emergencies only. And a back-up. I bought 2 in 2008 and this one has been sitting in my shop for 5 years and has only had it's maintenance runs. During the maintenance runs I would plug my air compressor into it and it runs like a champ. I also plugged in the 30 amp for my RV trailer; Ran the whole trailer, and 2 air conditioners GREAT! Onan CCKB 10 KW 240 VAC generator set nice running condition
For sale is an Onan 10 KW generator. This is an older CCKB genset that runs on gasoline currently but could be easily converted to LPG. You can still get parts for these. And manuals too. It's an older unit but solid- the engine is almost entirely cast iron! To get rated power the engine runs at 3600 rpm so it is not something you want to run all day, but for intermittent use its perfect. Where else can you get 10KW of power for less than a grand? I used to live in the foothills and got this one to use as backup power for my house and shop. I've since moved but brought it with me. I've been through this one pretty thoroughly because I was going to use it. I'm a professional mechanic so things have been done correctly. I have: Replaced points and condenser and set timing Replaced main rear oil seal Rebuilt carburetor Cleaned ... morecarbon from heads and valves Checked over electrical system, made sure connections are clean and tight, cleaned relays, inspected brushes, things like that Checked valve adjustment and replaced cover gaskets Changed oil Overall it is a solid well sorted unit. The only thing I would do if I kept it was replace the gas tank, it doesn't leak, but it is older and there are far more elegant fuel systems out there. I currently have a 110 volt outlet mounted on the generator and a 220 volt cord with a plug that mates up with my 220 volt standup air compressor. The idea is, not only can you hear it run, but you can see it power a significant load. You are looking at a very nice complete unit of genset. Trailer, and cover. I have tested this unit extensively on the road, on my home, and on the load bank. I have also spent a great deal of money on this unit to get it ready for you. I do not buy from auctions and flip defective units. Whatever I buy It to make ready for me to use indefinitely. The few I have sold have gone to friends. The trailer has very good tires and brakes including both parking brakes. It pulls extremely well behind my 1/2 ton p/u. It is a tilt trailer and has all metal bows, 3 of the 4 original jerry can holders with straps, and the original tool box in excellent condition. The cover is like new if not new. I keep the cover clean and dry because the genset stays in my shop at all times. The genset starts and runs very well very strong very smooth. I have loaded ... moreit to 110% for hours and am very confident that it will do more but I see no reason to abuse a machine. The one I use on my house does 125% w/o problem when multiple appliances start at once. I replaced the voltage regulator and the power distribution box with new(not reman) units to enhance some questionable initial performance. Most units flipped don't get that kind of attention. And, by-the-way, I have learned to never trust the hour meter. They are easily replaced with new or used ones(enough said) Both batteries are brand new standard marine batteries that are easily and cheaply replaced due to the custom frame I installed to hold them to the original battery floor piece another not so inexpensive part. Overall I would expect this unit to last thousands of hours with timely maintenance and an occasional repair. However, it is sold as is with no warranty. I invite any and all questions.
