I have for sale a 40Kw peak. 33Kw Prime, natural gas/Propane generator. The generator was used as a stand-by and emergency backup for a large bank of data servers at a local business. The server bank was moved to a new location due to growth in business, thus rendering this generator surplus. Powering this unit is a Chevrolet 4.3 litre V-6 engine. The unit is obviously all self-contained in a very robust cabinet, capable of withstanding whatever nature may throw at it. It has an on-board battery for starting, a battery charger to assure ample charge for emergency starting, and complete interface to the control panel(which is housed indoors) The unit, in its current arrangement, is setup for three phase power. This can be easily changed to single phase through an additional electrical cabinet, like you would with any three-phase supply. The ... moregenerator has less than 250 hours on it. Running once every week, on a Monday, for 15-20 minutes to keep everything lubricated and operational. It was very seldom called upon for backup and the hour meter reflects that. The auto start. Auto switch, and remote start control panel comes along with the sale, and is a key component in the overall value of this setup. The panel has phase tuning, allowing it to be dialed in very precisely for the critical nature of the needs to operate a bank of high-end servers. Made in the USA the Generac 5000 Watt generator runs strong, it could use a good cleaning and a tune up. A good cleaning with an oil change. New gas, spark plug was changed a couple years ago. It has been sitting its entire life in the garage and only seen a few storms that lasted no longer than 3 days. This generac runs like a champ, smooth and on the louder side. It has a few years already, but runs strong as it does have a reliable Briggs and Stratton engine. Nice breaker panel on the side, large wheels for easy transport and a five gallon tank of gas. Also I am not sure on the amount of hours but I have owned the machine since new and it been used a total of 8 times. Highest bidder taken the generator home! As Is Sale. No returns. You are bidding on a old/vintage 3000W generator for parts or rebuild. The Alternator part says Generac Niagara Alternator 3000w. 1ph, 60c, 115v, 3600rpm The engine is a Tecumseh 7hp. It is missing the carburetor and air cleaner. I have not inspected the insides or done any other troubleshooting on it. I can tell you that it turns over when you pull the cord and it feels to have some compression. This is for pickup only. No shipping.
