This unit was purchased used by me in 1999 along with several others, after I had rented it on several occations from the manufacturer, and fell in love with it. It has barely 2146.5hours of running time on it. It was stored mostly inside my warehouse. It has a 125+/ fuel tank capacity, so it will run for a long time on one tank. It was built for high end sound system powering and has 3 sets of 5-out put cam locks for easy hookup. A 400 amp 3-phase breaker for overall, and a couple 110v 20 amp breakers and convienence plugs on back. Front air intake and Rear panel exhaust. 2007 Multiquip Whisperwatt DCA-45USI Diesel Powered AC Generator - Low Hours!
Up for sale is a 2007 Multiquip Whisperwatt DCA-45USI trailer mounted generator. This Ultra Silent generator is in fantastic shape and was used primarily in film/video production and event production atmosphere. Generator only has 3553 hours of usage. We took a lot of pride in the physical appearance of our equipment. So this generator and trailer was just recently painted($1,000+ value) and now shows little signs of wear and tear. That is also why the typical stock decals have been removed, and are no longer on this unit(see badge in pictures to confirm its model number) Also, in order to keep our equipment out of the elements, we had a custom waterproof cover manufactured specifically to fit this generator($400+ value) This will be included in the auction sale. Generator engine runs like new and isn't due for another oil/filter change ... moreuntil 3800 Hours. Generator puts out clean power and has never failed even when nearly maxed out. Generator has 79 gallon fuel tank that is sure to last for an extended duration- There is some diesel in the tank however it will not be 100% full for this sale. We also recently replaced the foam/sound insulation on this unit to help dampen the engine noise as it was intended from the factory(see pictures) The trailer has new LED lighting all around and is operated by a 7 pin round trailer connection(looks like) This connector also controls the electric brakes of the trailer- You'll need an integrated brake controller on tow vehicle to have control over trailer brakes. The break away system on this trailer needs some work- it is about the only thing we did not replace/fix. The breakaway safety mechanism is wired into trailer brake system. However it does not have a battery or safety pin that fits the mechanism so it is not completely operational. Trailer will haul with working brakes, however the breakaway safety system is just missing a few parts.
