2002 Lemond Zurich Road Bike Frame, Carbon Fork, Reynolds 853 Steel 57cm
2002 57cm Lemond Zurich Frame and Fork. Frame is Reynolds 835 Steel. Fork is ICON OCLV Air Rail that comes stock with this year and model. Got this from the original owner. Who I would guess put less than 2500 miles on the bike. I have included all pictures of the scuffs and scrapes to the paint from normal wear. No dents or dings. I'd give the frame an 8 of 10 condition. Comes with a Cane Creek S2 headset and a 3T Forgie stem. Bike comes as pictured, what you see is what you get. The frame is a 57cm according to the way Lemond sizes their bike frames. 57cm from center of BB to center of TT. The Top Tube also measures 57cm center to center. Sale includes a Cane Creek S6 headset that was new and has the same mileage as the frame as well as the seat clamp. Constructed of Columbus Zona Nivachrome steel tubing with Ritchey cast dropouts. 58cm seat tube c-c. 57.5cm top tube 175mm head tube. Oversize down tube and seat stays create a stiff but conformable ride.73 degree parallel angles. Paint is in good condition and has been touched up in a couple of places. Serotta T Max mountain bike frame Columbus Max OR STEEL vintage 21" Large
This is a very cool Serotta T Max mountain bike frame that I have had for a while as a pending project. The frame is made from Columbus Max OR. Likely the best mountain steel tubeset ever used. The tubes are custom draws and ovalized at the ends. Ritchey dropouts are brazed in. This looks to be a pretty early frame, but I cannot decipher the serial number. Very cool looking frame. The issues: 1. The previous owner said the seatpost was stuck. There are plier marks on it indicating that it is in fact stuck. I have not tried to remove it. But I am certain it is stuck. There are methods to remove it(penetrating oil and patience or the torch method) but I do not have the space in my apt to deal with this, which is why this is a pending project! 2. The stem. Which is a Syncros cattleprod stem, looks very oxidized around the bolt. Usually when ... morea post is stuck, so it the stem. I have not tried to remove it, but consider it stuck as well. 3. The non-driveside BB cup is still in the frame. The driveside came out fine. But this side gave me some issues as it was already destroyed by the previous owner. I'm certain it will come out a pipe wrench and some elbow grease, but I gave up.I'm a quitter. 4. There is a dent in the non-driveside middle side of the top tube. It is about 3/4" long and 1.5-2.5mm in depth. Not too bad to be structural(this is steel) But it is there and the exposed metal has begun to oxidize. Hard to photograph, but take a look at the picture. Other than the above mentioned issues. And some surface rust here and there plus plenty of scratches, the frame is in typical used condition. It is certainly worth saving and restoring, as it is straight and free of any other cracks or dents, I just don't have the capabilities in my current living situation. Nashbar Signature Mountain Frame Reynolds 853 Steel 17.5" for 26" Wheels
It's time to sell my Nashbar Signature Mountain Frame. It's was the only 26" left in my stable after switching to 29" wheels several years ago and for good reason. it's an awesome frame. Not long after building up this frame I caught the 29er bug so it hasn't seen much use. I carefully removed the V-Brake studs and did my best to match the original paint but missed the mark a bit. Although it's barely noticeable when the bike is dirty. Nashbar recommends a suspension fork with 80 to 100mm of travel and I found that 100mm worked best for me. There are the typical signs of use, some scratches, rock and chain slap chips, but no chain suck gouges and I did my best to cover the cable rub spots with protective film. The black brake hose guide in between the brazed-on guides is a stick-on which removeable if you so ... moredesire. I just didn't like the way the hose slapped the top tube without it. Requires a fork with a straight 1-1/8" steerer, 68mm English Thread bottom bracket, 31.8mm top pull front derailleur and a 27.2mm seatpost. The Salsa seatpost clamp is also included in the auction. The last picture is only for reference, this auction is for the frame only, not the complete bike. Up for sale is a Serotta Coeur d'Acier frame. Size 61CM, serial number CCD 61 543. I believe the"CCD" means"Custom Coeur d'Acier. Based on the components it had when I purchased it and the Serotta catalogs I examined, I estimate it to be about 2005 vintage. The makes for a very light. Yet stiff, frame. Flick it with your finger and it rings like a bell. The frame is in very good condition, though it does have a significant blemish on the top tube. I think it was dented at one time(the blemish is right where the handlebars would have whacked it) but if so, it seems to have been repaired well, just not repainted. I found it to be straight when I lined a straight edge up against the top tube on top and bottom edges and both sides. Other than that, you will see the typical paint chips from normal use. Up for no reserve auction is a super rare chromoly quadangle frame. There were only about 150 of these made in late 1982 to early 1983. There are no dings. Rewelds or repairs. The serial number is still clearly visible, 11 82 138. The frame was powder coated a few years ago and the decals are new old stock originals. The frame was originally black with light blue decals. Grove Innovations dual suspension amp steel frame
I purchased this frame around 1996 in Pennsylvania and rode it until 2001. It has been sitting in a dehumidified basement since. Just before I stopped riding it. The amp coil shock broke and I replaced it with a risse, but a seal broke shortly thereafter and I never replaced it. The frame is in decent condition, but the paint has quite a few chips and scratches(especially on the drive side) which I tried to show in the photos. Even with the scratches, the grove paint job still looks good. There are several other minor problems that would need to be fixed if someone wants to restore the bike: the head of one of the two allen bolts holding the shock to the amp rear snapped off, but this would be easy to remove and replace with a new bolt; a seal on the rear shock needs to be replaced, but these should be available from risse racing; one of ... morethe bushings on the rear end dropout was replaced with a non original, but I think you can still find original amp replacements. The bb threads are in good shape and the frame shows no signs of corrosion internally. The top tube is about 21.75 from center to center and the seat tube about 19 from bb center to the top of the seat tube; i think this was probably described as an 18 inch. The head tube is 1" and the seatpost is 26.8. I assume interested buyers know about Grove's frames(the closeups of the welds shown in the pics are remarkable) the amp frames are quite rare, as far as I know. I would be happy to include the judy fork and headset, although the fork probably needs some attention. I hoping someone will restore it and ride it.

The frame is the Competition which was Olmo's top of the line race bike and is made with Columbus SLX tubing which is spiraled for increased stiffness and weight reduction. It has been hung with the best parts(the two I have consulted both said top of the line Campagnolo) and tuned and maintained religiously. The frame was also stored with the greatest care. Vintage 1981 Motobecane Super Touring Vitus 172 Steel 23 Inch Frame Sweet!
Rare 1981 or so Motobecane Super Touring with Vitus 172 double butted steel frame and hand painted lugs. I'm not sure on the year but its close as the bike has Suntour Vx shifters. Derailluers, and bottom bracket which makes current stuff very easy to replace unlike older models that used swiss/french threading. The bike comes with Weinmann 27 inch alloy touring rims laced to Normandy 36 spoke hubs front and rear and new Continental Ultra Sport tires. It's a triple front chainring and five speed cassette making it a true fifteen speed bike. Also has Weinmann centerpull brakes and Dia-compe levers that need new hoods. It's all original except for the tires, bar tape, new cables, seat and seatpost. The original seat and post where missing when I got the bike. It's 23 inch frame measured from the crankset to the top of the seat ... moretube and has a long 23 inch top tube measured center to center. Colnago Master Lux Steel Road Bike Frame 55cm
This is a stunningly beautiful frame with a few cosmetic issues resulting from pitting underneath the chrome. Please look at the pictures closely. First the good: Columbus Gilco tubeset-amazing paint job-beautiful lugs-classic steel" ride quality-perfect functional condition(only very minor surface rust inside the frame-the kind that you would find on any steel frame of this age) Campy Record Headset included And the bad: it appears that there are some pitting issues with the chrome plating. Most noticeable on the chain stays. This has caused the paint to blister in a few places-most notably the"lux master" logo. I picked off the flaking paint there and re-touched it. The rest of the frame is in much better shape. next to the re-touched logo there is a scrape in the paint from where my kid leaned the top tube up against a brick ... morewall. This is visible in the logo picture. there is a noticeable bend(pictured) of the chain stay. I am not sure why this is here-my guess is that the frame was originally made for a 125mm rear wheel and it was resized. The previous owner stated that the frame was like this when he purchased it new. Lower race on the headset was damaged slightly during removal. Vintage Made in France Motobecane Super Mirage Steel FRAME Frameset 25" 64 cm
This vintage. MADE IN FRANCE(silver sticker on right chainstay) Motobecane Super Mirage lugged steel frameset features exterior cable guides, one set of bottle cage drillings on down tube, rear chain hanger, and eyelets on fork tips and rear dropout. This is a steel frameset with decal on seat tube that says“3 tubes, Cr Mo, ISO 25 CD 45. I’m guessing this frameset may be 1970s since Motobecane went bankrupt in 1981. There is a number in front of the serial that looks like an 80, so maybe it is that as well. Dark metallic gray paint is what I call above average with NO large areas of loss or multiple deep scratches and NO significant rust. Paint has scratches from typical use. And the decals are also quite good– about 85% intact. Rear dropouts show some wear and tear from wheel removal. I’ve no idea of history or mileage, but there are no ... moredings, dents, or bends, and down tube and bottom bracket have no road stone chips in the paint. I’ve laid a straight edge along the 3 major tubes, and they are straight with no variation. This is a used frameset and is sold as-is. Here are specs with condition notes(2.54 cm is one inch) Serial number stamped into bottom bracket is 60920(see pics for all the other numbers—this frameset has numbers stamped all over it) Seat tube measures 63.5 cm(25 inches) from center of bottom bracket to top. Top tube measures 59 cm from center to center. Down tube measures 66 cm from center to center. Seat stay measures 59 cm from center to center. Chain stay measures 45 cm from center to center. Black Raleigh road frameset from the 1970's This frame is a Raleigh. But we're not sure what model, you can just see the remnants of the decals but not enough to make it out. The paint is a bit chipped, scuffed and dirty. However there are no dents, dings or signs of any structural damage. The head tube has some quite nice cut out lugs. Vintage Zeus Track frame reynolds steel 54cm pista fixed gear campagnolo
For sale is a Zeus track frame manufactured between 1969 and 1971 in Spain. it was built with reynolds steel and comes with a Zeus pista headset and bottom bracket it will also come with a campagnolo seat clamp bolt and a lightweight aluminum seat post. The frame is very lightweight with a tight geometry. The steel is solid and straight and the lugs are in good shape. Cosmetically its shows its age. The paint has some chips and scratches as do the stickers but you can still see some of the original pin-striping around the luggs. Absolutely beautiful Panasonic NJS track frameset. In near perfect condition. Only a few small chips in the paint. The entire frame and fork is chrome plated and sprayed in a translucent copper paint. Frame measures 50 cm CENTER TO CENTER along the seat tube and 52 cm CENTER TO CENTER along the top tube. This is a relatively new frame. It was custom ordered by the original owner from Japan and was received in the states new. It has only been ridden on the track and only a handful of times. Frame and fork are straight and true with no dents or dings. Many paint chips were touched up with a combination of an artist's brush and spray paint to improve its appearance. I assure you that no structural issues existed before the paint touch up. Paint and decals are in very good condition. Rear triangle chrome is in good shape. Fork chrome is nicked in areas.
