ONLY ONE DOOR-the door on the left. With hardware removed(although it will be included) Solid wood door with original glass removed from my 1904 Victorian home. Again, this buy-it-now is for ONE door. Most of the woodwork in my house, including the floors, is pine, so I'm assuming these doors are pine. Beautiful scalloped carving surrounding the glass. One door has a significant chip on the top inside corner, shown in one photograph. Otherwise, minor nicks and scratches, overall in good shape. I believe if you stripped these, patched and finished, they will look beautiful. And the original wavy glass is gorgeous. The doors are not perfectly square, so I will give the range of measurements. I removed the lockset from one door to distinguish the two, but mortise lock, plate, knobs, and iron hinges ARE INCLUDED! All are original to the doors ... moreexcept the deadbolts. Each door has a solid pine core covered with 1/4" thick red oak veneers. Please don't think"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern furniture to disguise the inferior materials underneath; these veneers are very thick and help strengthen and stabilize the door. As well as protect it against warping. Solid oak doors would've warped a long time ago. The doors have 6 panels on each side: 2 square on top. 2 long, rectangular in the middle, and 2 square on bottom. On the front side, the panels have beautifully- carved, Gothic quadrafoils and ogee arches. On the back side, the panels are raised. Hardware: Besides the ... moremail door and cover. Even though Sub-Zero discontinued this model around 2000, the model 532 is one of the best Sub-Zero model ever made and this unit should last for 25-30 years with no problem. New pine hewn from 10- 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger ... morethan young pine. Height/Width: The heights of Doors#4 and#6. And the width of Door#6 were unevenly cut. The cuts were most likely made to compensate for a settling foundation or an old warped floor. We could evenly cut any door, and we could also adjust them to fit your opening- Email us for a quote. 2 Antique Turn-of-Century Doors Interior Exterior 6 Pane Solid Wood Brass Hinges
For your consideration: FREE SHIPPING: For local pickup only. Two vintage doors and some vintage door hardware for one sale. These items came from a lake house my daughter renovated. A kind ebayer with knowledge of these types of knobs and locks offered that the glass pane door may be from circa 1900-1910. The first is an exterior door and been painted green on one side and is natural or stained on the other. It has one half of the hinge unit still attached and the other is gone. It is solid wood with 6 glass panes measuring approx. 6 ¾” x 16” and the dimensions of the door are approx. 79 ¼” tall x 30 ½” wide x 1 5/16” thick. It could use a slight amount of repair and perhaps refinishing but appears to be rock solid. The brass knob hardware works fine from both sides but there is no skeleton key. The second is an interior 2 ... morepanel door and is natural or stained on both sides. All brass hinge assemblies are there for both on the door and jamb sides It also is solid wood measuring approx. 78” tall x 32” wide x 1 5/16” thick. It could use a slight amount of repair at the bottom left of one side but this appears superficial. You could also refinish it if you wish. It also appears to be a heavy and nice old door. The brass knob hardware works fine from both sides but there is no skeleton key for this door either. Finally. A group of brass hinge hardware that you can analyze from the photos and please use the zoom feature to see hem closely. It appears there are two sets complete with pins and 2 jamb side only with only 1 pin. Because of their age. Obviously I cannot detail every single characteristic good or bad of these doors so please be ready to accept them as-is upon pickup. However. I believe the doors look so much better in person than the photos can depict, and if you are not completely sure if they will work for your improvement project, I will offer a no-risk evaluation.
