They are large(3 foot x 3 foot) heavy(10 kilos) steel panels which came from an old cold war army base. They were part of a massive shelving system. I have quite a few available at just £35 each. Each panel is painted in original institutional grey paint with fairly random numbers stencilled around the perimeter. To enhance their cold war chic. They have a large red star stencilled along with large numbers, you can specify whichever number you like, I also have them in plain grey. They all have scuffs, scrapes and rust. Penn Antique Restoration. 3 Antique"Stanley" Steel Door Hinges 4 3/8" x 4 3/8" Heavy-duty. Antique hinges made by"Stanley Works" of New Britain. CT during the first quarter of the previous century. Each hinge is made of solid steel and weighs 13oz. They have a 5-knuckle design with a single pin that has a rounded end. The hinges were removed from a big door that we salvaged from Northeastern Ohio. At the point of salvage. The hinges were covered under many layers of paint, they were dirty and rusty, they didn't open easily, and the pins wouldn't budge(see last photo) Since then, we completely removed the paint, and cleaned and polished each hinge to the best of our ability. STEAMPUNK Industrial Coppery Rusty Heavy Steel Door Hinges for Solid Wood Doors
These heavy duty solid wood door hinges are in used condition with a nice copper-toned stain or paint with rusty and nicely aged areas. Measurements are 4" x 1 7/8" each. The spaces between the area where the pins would insert are about 3/4"each. These were used on very heavy solid wood doors which are hard to find anymore. Take a look at the pictures. They are as shown, actually were scanned so you can see the nice antique wear patterns. Of course these only fit on the doors, you would attach to whatever fittings you have on the door frame. I have up for sale a wonderful vintage original circa 1930s DURAND STEEL LOCKER CO Chicago. New York Army Green Factory/Industrial metal locker set. Firstly- this is a great looking locker set and perfect for any industrial decor/ home sports storage/ just practical utility. Its a double door unit- s tanding approx 78" tall. 24" wide, 15" deep frame and weighs approx 115 as you see it. The casters can be removed- as the person that owned this had some metal sleeves made to slip over the legs so as to use casters. Nice Size for fitting into any location- this is a narrow set- only measuring 24" wide and 15" or so deep. Very Nice Original Condition- I did not clean or even wipe it with a cloth- its just as it came from the owner who was an avid collector that passed on recently. This is a double door set. Durand Steel Locker Co is one of the premier locker manufacturers and this model is the pinnacle of the industrial age metal lockers. The locker is in great shape- some normal minor light wear- original army green finish. I do not have the keys for the locks but this is something easily made by any locksmith. The doors swing smoothly and the handles work as they should. There are no damages nor any repairs- albeit some normal light wear- the right side has some minor scratching or mar marks- nothing significant and something that could be greatly improved with a simple cleaning and oiling. Being very fussy- one of the metal rivets is missing from the Durand escutcheon type piece-shown in my last pic. I GIVE THE OPTION OF FEDEX FREIGHT but I must be contacted prior to purchase for a quote- my number is 1-920-427-6749. It would take me an approx 1 week time period to get the box made for the item and do the packaging. You would be responsible to the shipping and packaging costs.
