On the top, to put the bird in, and on the side, to see the bird. Both openings are oval shaped and are closed with sliding planks that are held in with small brass dogs on the end. There are five air holes on one long side, and two air holes on each short side. There are also two small holes near each dog where a wire can be slipped through to lock the covers more effectively than the dogs. Made from polished mahogany with brass fittings. No significant damage. But some wear around the dog fittings. I looked all over the internet to see a picture of a similar cage- never found one. Perhaps a miner's canary cage. Here you have a lot of 4 Hess ORIGINAL Sliding Doors that comes directly from a 1975 Hess truck. One says“FUEL OILS” One says“GASOLINE” and the other 2 reads“HESS” The decals of one of the Hess doors and the Fuel Oils door is really peeling off. It is hard to see the letters, but not impossible. The other 2(Gasoline and other Hess) are in a great, readable condition, with only a little decal peeling off. Once attached to a truck, these doors slide perfectly back and forth(if assembled correctly) to reveal the cargo part of the truck. Even though this item comes from a 1975 Hess truck, it can still fit a small variety of trucks, including 1975 and 1976. Comes from a smoke free home. Large Vintage Industrial Heavy Duty Steel Metal Wall Cabinet Sliding Glass Doors
For auction is one fantastic industrial steel cabinet with sliding glass doors. It is in excellent condition. And is as high-quality and heavy-duty as they get. Each door has double-strength glass encased in a metal frame with recessed stainless pulls. It comes with three adjustable metal shelves(only one is pictured in the cabinet) and all shelf clips are accounted for. It is painted a light gray and there are very few scratches throughout, except for the bottom edge, which has a lot of wear. There are also some larger scratches on the left side of the interior(pictured) but you don't really notice them once the shelves are in. It has been thoroughly cleaned and is ready for use. It can be used as a free-standing unit on the floor or can be wall mounted, and it has four 1/4" diameter holes pre-drilled for that purpose. Barn Door Trolley for 2 Doors complete with Track Industrial Sliding
This set of barn door trolley and track has enough pieces for two doors. There are four pieces of track: 73. 69, 48, and 27 inches long. The wheel sets each have two wheels 3 inches in diameter. The bracket pieces are 10 inches tall and the wheels with bracket are 7 and 1/2 inches wide. Made of iron, rusted but the wheels still turn. There are several original nails included. This is an original Thomas Edison radio/ phonograph cabinet. It was made in Edisons furniture factory in New Jersey. Reviewing the history of this cabinet I found the following information. In 1916 Edison's furniture started producing cabinets for his radios and phonographs. He started producing the cabinets by large quanities in 1918 in many of his furniture manufacturing facilities. A majority of the cabinets were produced from 1918 through 1923 This cabinet I have for sale has the original factory stamp on the rear side. The cabinet is 43 inches high. 24 inches wide and 15 inches in depth. The cabinet, by itself is 24 x 15. The legs are very sturdy and not wobbly The doors slide easily in a wooden track The back of the cabinet has plywood nailed to it The veneering on the top is warped from water. For your bidding pleasure I am offering this Beautiful. Vintage Solid teak cabinet made by Teak-Tech Dallas TX. This is designed to be hung on the wall or placed on a desk or shelf. High quality construction with sliding tambour doors. It has two shelves, with one removable sliding wood peg on each, Very Good vintage condition-no chips or cracks to the wood, the doors open and close smoothly. The outside measurements are approximately 17 inches long X 11 3/8 inches high and 7 1/2 inches deep, and the inside measurements are 13 3/8 inches long X 5 1/8 inch shelf heights and 5 1/2 inches deep.
