Today I have for sale used wardrobe from Argos. It's Malibu range and has 3 doors(2 sections) and 4 drawers. The double door section has one shelf and rail for hangers. The one door section has 4 shelves. 4 drawers at the bottom. Some marks and scuffs as expected from used item. I'm trying to be as honest as possible at describing the items so you can see all marks on the photos attached. Doors are working. Drawers are sliding in and out. There are some adjustments available at the hinges to move doors up and down etc. As freebie I offer matching drawer chest/bedside with 3 drawers. The interior of the cupboard has been divided into three sections. The cupboard has its original pine backboards. The front of each door has had the school name obscured by over painting– see photos. For sale a lovely storage cupboard that would look great in a kitchen. Hall, dining room or bedroom. It's made from nice solid old pine and was bought by us about 10 years ago whilst we were living in Holland. There's a drawer at the top which is fairly well hidden and runs the full width of the cupboard. And two doors below with extensive storage space, including two shelves(one original large one, and a narrower one that i added) The doors close very nicely and stay closed, but we don't have the key. Lovely naturally aged mellow shade of old pine. elm door infills and backboard the rest is solid pine i think, mitred base plinth and original brass catch and pull knob. Wood Pediment White pine my sister in law& I took out of a house that was built in 1924 here in rural Iowa. Color is slightly darker than picture. 38" long. 6.5" tall, 2 1/4" deep on the top crown. It has a tapered shape and measures approximately 7 3/4" wide at the bottom and 3" wide at the top. It looks like it was ... moremade to hold one standard size loaf of bread. This Bread Box looks like it was well-made and is solid& sturdy. The BREAD letters look like they were made with a scroll saw from wood and do have some splits in the letters. This old Victorian door in the Eastlake Style has been stripped of all paint and is ready to finish in any way you want. It is constructed of heart pine and is in very nice vintage condition and bears the original porcelain knob and escutcheon plate. It measures 33 ¾”w x 87 ½”h x 2” thick. Opening for glass 22” w x 46 1/2”h. It features carved bullseye and scalloped detail on one side(lower left bullseye has some damage- see last photo) and raised panels on the other. Longaberger 2 Door Pine Cupboard
This beautiful hand crafted Longaberger 2 door pine cupboard is truly a rare piece. The cupboard has 4 removable shelves plus a storage area at the cupboard bottom. Essentially making it a 5 shelf cupboard. It would be ideal as a spice and condiment storage cabinet. The dimensions are 15 ½” wide X 32 ¾” high X 5 ½” deep. There are hanging brackets on the back for wall mounting. This cupboard is listed in the Bentley Guide(3 rd edition) with no form number and no original or market price. There were a limited number of these 2 door cabinets made. The exact date of manufacture is unknown. However it was made prior to 1985 because there is no Longaberger logo burned in the back or bottom of the cabinet. Longaberger did not initial or date wood products prior to 1985. This cabinet is used and has some very minor flaws. On the inside ... moreback panel are some minor discoloration drip marks. They are not very noticeable at all when the shelves are in place. A very small hairline crack(repaired) might be seen in the 7th photograph using the zoom feature. There are absolutely no structural damages or rigidity problems with the doors or the cabinet in any way. The basket weaving has no scratches. Condition is very good. There are five tenon joints on each side. Visible along the edges. It dates to approximately 1900 and was fitted with an old surface-mounted mortise lock which is no longer with it. The wood panels themselves are beveled, an extra touch that sets this door apart. There are several coats of old paint on this one, creating an elegant, finely crackled finish. It is solid and perfectly usable for matching the existing doors in your lovely old home, repurposing as art or décor, or for a period restoration. THIS IS ONE OF THE OTHER WONDERFUL CABINETS I JUST ACQUIRED FROM AN 1880'S HOME HERE IN TENNESSEE THAT ALSO HAD AN OLD GENERAL STORE ON THE PROPERTY(CLOSED FOR OVER 30 YEARS) THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE PIECES.AND AT FIRST A FAMILY MEMBER WAS GOING TO KEEP IT- BUT. THEY HAD NO ROOM IN THEIR VEHICLE GOING HOME, SO I LUCKED OUT AND GOT TO HAVE IT. THEN, I ALMOST KEPT IT- BUT THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH ROOM- SO I AM OFFERING IT UP FOR AUCTION.
