Antique Primitive Pine 4 Door wavy glass Cabinet Hutch Cupboard french country
removed from american foursquare built around 1905. It appears that builder used this original cupboard for parts when house was built. I was in the process of gutting the kitchen and installing new sink and cabinets and kinda discovered the bottom half of the piece had been used for the original sink area. It appears that over the years a number of counters had replaced the original top and bottom half framed in with sheetrock. The top glass cabinet was anchored to the wall and had the original 3 coat plaster around it. I managed to find as much of the original pieces as I could and put the bottom back together with the exception of the top. I used yellow pine salvaged from the house to rip the new top. The top glass portion is 100% original and nothing has been done other than clean and lightly sand the pine to remove old plaster. The piece ... moreis huge, it is 8' 4" long and 7' tall. Top cabinet is 13" deep. Bottom is 23" deep. The weight of the item is around 600 to 800 pounds. All glass appears to be original wavy. Wonderful Solid Pine Mission Arts and Crafts Entrance Door
Up for auction is a beautiful Solid Pine Door from 1918. Door was removed by the owner so we know the date of the door as being original. This door is in excellent shape with original glass windows. House that door came from had a nice wide porch and as such this door has no rot. Door bottom on front of the door was wood puttied to fill some of the dings from door and will be buffed flat and ready for paint. Door front has been sanded down and inside door side has original varnish which I believe has been shallacked. The door is made of either solid Douglas Fir or Pine and features 5 raised panels. This door was originally part of a set of double doors. There are flush bolt mortises on the top and bottom of the lock stile and there is a mortise for a strike plate. No cuts were made for a lock set. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However.
