This is a Manual tie baler and you will only need one remote to operate the hydraulic rear gate. The weight of the baler is around 3000# This baler is 8' 6" wide for hauling it home and I can load it for free. I don't have a real good way of shipping this head but if you are serious about it I can make some phone calls and try to find something. I am listing a Hesston 4800 4x4 square baler. It is a 1981 model with a Haytec monitor and preservative. The baler was gone through on the knotters. It has been sitting for two years. The right side tire is weather checked and may at some point need replaced. It has never given me trouble or lost air. The baler is in good shape. You will need a lowboy to move it, as it is heavy. We purchased this baler 6 years ago and have used it every year on our family farm with no problems. We bought it because of its speed of operation and the ease at which the bales haul in comparison. And it has always worked very well for us because of those exact reasons! We hate to part with it, but because of some changes in our operation have made the decision to sell it to the highest bidder in a true and fair absolute auction! We also have an older Hesston“StakProcessor”10 bale processor that we used from time to time to process these large squares for re-baling with a small square baler… and would sell it for a very fair price to the purchaser of the baler ... moreif he/she wanted it. As far as this 8590 goes. Really what you see is what you get. We haven’t cleaned it up any and it really is in its working clothes in all the pictures, but is still a nice honest functional big square baler. It has matching newer(December 2004 date code) Alliance A-330 diamond tread 28L-26 tubeless tires that are both in seemingly new shape, a large 1000 PTO shaft, and 3 remotes for pick-up lift up and down/hydraulic tension and flow/ and hydraulic knotter blower operation. THE BALER DOES NOT COME WITH A MONITOR! It was accidently backed over and ruined shortly after we purchased it while we were trying to back into a tight spot in a barn to hook it up. For that reason, my brother simply hooked in a manual switch into the bale tension regulator for manual bale tension control… but as far as I know all the electronics are still in place where if the new owner wanted to purchase a new monitor for it they could… we just chose to use it without one for the last 5 years
