Up for consideration is a McCrometer Fire Hydrant Water Meter with attached Fireman's Shutoff Valve(solid brass made in Italy) a 300 PSI Pressure Valve to check on the water flow. The shutoff valve is 5 1/4" in diameter& it has a 3" diameter outlet. I have no way of testing this unit but it reads only 1098 on the meter gauge. The dust cap is missing on the flow valve- this should not affect anything.

Nash No.1 Natural Gas Meter for National Meter Co.
Being offered is a rare Nash No. 1 natural gas meter This meter was manufactured by the National Meter Co. of New York. USA. Patent#715398. This piece was designed by Lewis H. Nash who went on to found the Nash Engineering Company. In South Norwalk, CT. He was also the holder of over 100 United States Patents for pumps, engines and other equipment. He was also a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives. This meter stands 4 1/4 inches tall. 3 1/2 inches deep, 3 1/2 inches wide, and weighs 2 lbs and 2.4 oz. The housing and door are made of cast brass. With a glass viewing window. The internals all appear to be machined out of brass as well. The red paint is a little worn off. There is some oxidation of brass inside. But this does not take away from the funtionality of it. All lettering is legible, and each wheel spins freely. Included ... morealso is a drive gear. This would be a great find for someone in the natural gas industry as most of these went to scrap over the years. It would make a great lamp. Clock or display piece, or even part of a streampunk display.
