Bought from the original owner in the late 1980's to make ha y at the old home place.removed engine and took to machine shop& had heads removed. Cleaned, and new gaskets. Rebuilt starter.new exhaust manifold and muffler.had new metering cam made that would trip the knotting mechanism which would make an 18" long bale.plunger wear plates(steel) replaced with commercial teflon runners.started the engine on 10/03 and it ran a while. Then starved for fuel.carb needs a good cleaning.engine needs tune-up. engine runs stong with no smoke.the big tire on baler tore up when we moved it from storage.i will replace.other tire is brand new.have an extra wheel for the big tire.all bearings. New Holland 575 model! Good condition. Always sheded when not is use. There is a little rust on the front door above the plunger. It was there when I bought it several years ago. Every year, I bale about 2000 square bales with it. The last time it ran was in October of 2013. It is wire tie baler, and makes a good tight bale. Wide pickup and it is a commerical type baler. New Holland 273 Hay Square Baler Tractor Deere Farmall
Up for bids is a New Holland 273 Square Baler. Has 1/4 turn chute for setting bales on the side to be picked up with bale wagon. Needles are in good shape with no repairs. Knotters have wear but aren't worn out. Baler is in usable condition with some issues. The first issue is it will need the pickup fingers and two of the pickup bands replaced. The second issue is that it misses alot of ties on bales. We baled some straw with it last summer. It will need some adjustment on the right side knotter as it is not wanting to wipe the knot off of the bill hook. We did not have the time to mess with it at the time so it was parked and the neighbor did the baling. Sold as is where is. Located at family farm in Carrollton OH 44615. I have a New Holland self- propelled bale wagon the model number is a 1048 106 bales. It is in descent shape has a Ford motor runs good. Front tires are new. I never used this I brought it to used and never did. Everything works like it should, the cab is rough back glass is broke, the brakes don't work. The table is 9.3 inches wide x 7.3 foot long, the back table is the same on width and 14 foot long. You are buying it as is where is, can haul on a gooseneck trailer. Up for bids is a New Holland 68 Hayliner Square Baler. Needles look good with no repairs. Bale chamber looks good and not rusted out. Bed and shear knives look okay. Could probably use sharpening. Knotters have wear but are functioning. Pickup head has a bent guide hoop that needs straightened but is functional. Pickup teeth are okay. Has wagon chute and wagon hitch. Tongue has had some repair(see picture) PTO driveline in working condition. Has a couple of guard panels missing, one on the outside of the pickup head and the other on the backside by the hay feed forks. Overall average but usable condition with no defects known to prevent operation. We had this baler hooked up and cycled it through this weekend. Everything appears in working order. This"NO RESERVE" Auction is for a New Holland 849 Hydraulic automatic-tie round baler. It makes good solid 5X5 rolls generally weighing around 1200 pounds. Tension is adjusted by turning a nut on the end of the spring assy. I bought it from another farmer that retired and now I am retiring also. Both owners used this baler on only about 50 acres each. So it hasn't been abused. Chains replaced about 2 years before quitting baling. Baler is equipped with a bale kicker, and rock guard rear door. He had purchased it new and only baled 300 bales with it. I used it once& baled 800 bales. It has been sitting in the barn since. This is original paint. May have very little fading. 1998 New Holland Round Baler 664 Bale Size: 400-2000 lbs Been sheaded PTO:540 Has book and alarm cord when bale is done. Belts seem in ok shape. Pickup in ok shape. Paint pretty good. Its a twine baler. Takes at least a 80hp tractor to run it. Nice averge baler. It has a counter on it. But its one of those that has been started over. So it says like 40 bales on it. But I don't think it has baled a lot of hay. I got it from a New Holland Dealer. The previous owner took care of it. I can tell that. Sales tax will apply if your not tax exempt. You can watch a video at Here is a New Holland super 67 sting tie square baler I did not see any problems with it. We hooked it up and ran it and it ran out fine. This baler is 8' 6" wide for hauling it home and I can load it for free.
