And prior to that for the Control Instruments Company, and still maintains its inspection and equipment tags. This has been called the best grid-dip meter ever made, and it features a removable head, large meter, and a regulated power supply. This meter features its original coil set in clip-on wood holder. This unit was in bad shape when I got it. A new cord has been put on. As has a knob to replace the one missing from the coil holder, and a broken, insulated phenolic shaft on the handset has been repaired.
