I got this instrument along with a"bunch of other stuff" at a recent estate auction! From looking at similar instruments on eBay. I expect it is a sling psychrometer! I have no idea what it does. But it looks to be in very good condition. Possibly never used! I can't find a Model No. on it. So it probably is an older version! When closed, it is approx. 8" long.
