precision model 1077B television analyst - All tubes glow
The 12 tubes inside all glow. The capacitor emits a waft of smoke. Something I have read in another one that was listed. But that one did not have a glow on all the tubes. The CRT glows blue. The case is slightly damaged, that was from me and it was a crush, not a drop, so it did not affect the inside components. The ac line needs a cord, I left it as I am sure you will want to do your own. The unit is being sold as is as I have no way to test and it has a bad capacitor. But I would say it would work once that is replaced. I am thinking about listing the tubes if no one buys it soon. So get it while you can. Thanks!

Vintage B&K Precision Dynascan Model 1250 NTSC Generator Tested Works
This is a vintage B&K Precision Dynascan Model 1250 NTSC Generator. It came from the stock of a radio. Cd, ham, electronic repair shop that we recently bought out. It is in very good condition. This is used to test and align B&W and Color TV televisions. It generates multiple test patterns including dots, cross hatch, center cross and bars. This would be very handy if you are restoring vintage tube television sets. The case has minor wear from use with some scuffing on the top right hand corner. There is one push button cover missing for the crosshatch pattern as well as a knob for the RF control. Neither affects functionality. The handle is in good shape. The instrument panel is in very good condition. There is no manual, cables and other documentation included. I connected the 75 ohm RF output to my plasma screen TV. I plugged in ... morethe unit and it powered up. I was able to select and display all test patterns, different raster colors and different audio frequencies. COLOR GENERATOR with LEATHER CASE and CONNECTING LEADS up for auction. This high quality TEST UNIT comes with a LEATHER CASE. It measures 11 inches by 8 inches high and is 3 inches high. This unit is surplus from a large manufacturing plant in our area. And was used to test and repair their early tube type business band radios. These radios were very similar to early tube type Ham radios. I do not know why they had TV repair equipment. It must have been used to repair some type of their equipment. I have tested this unit and all functions seem ... moreto work. The calibration seems to be correct. The Leather case is starting to show signs of wear. And it could use a cleaning as it has been sitting on a workbench for many years, and may have some dust in the nooks and crannies. It is mounted in a STRONG METAL- CARRY CASE. This unit was manufactured in the USA when the country still made high quality test equipment. As opposed the the newer lower quality items now made in China.
