You are viewing a fully-tested Sencore Model HDTV996 VSB player. In exceptionally good condition. It is test equipment used to generate a signal for digital television systems. It provides a compatible ATSC signal to feed digital off-air receivers, Digital TVs, and any equipment that uses an 8-VSB input. The output is a 75-ohm F connector on channel 14 or 15. I show its output on channel 14.1 on my digital TV) The unit can play internally stored programs. And record Transport Stream sources or load them from the CD/DVD drive. The HDTV996 weighs about 19 lbs. and has a convenient carrying handle on both sides. And pop-up feet to allow easy viewing of the 4x20 front panel display. It can be operated from the front panel.
