For your consideration is this vintage Heathkit Transistor Checker/ Tester Meter Model IT-18 in brown plastic case. Cosmetically this piece of test equipment looks brand new and is in very good condition. The only sign of age is the paper on the inside lid showing various transistors that has some light age yellowing. The meter. Switches and knobs are in very good condition and test leads look new as well. I replaced the single D-Cell battery(new battery included) in the unit and performed the step-by-step calibration procedure I found on the Internet and it is calibrated and appears to be in good working order. The proper calibration resistor is included and attached to the battery clip. I don't have the manual for it, just the calibration process and a schematic I found online, which I will include with it.
