Up for auction is this Vintage. Hickok Video Generator, Model 650C. I have no operating manual for this unit, but they are available on the Internet. Photo 2 shows unit powering up. No further testing has been done. Please see ALL photos closely. Unit does show some"grime" scratching, scuffing, some dirt and some minor rust. Does have 2 tags(photos 9& 10) that are tied to handle with string. Yellow tag is an inspection check tag that shows serial number and other calibration/inspection information. The red tag(should be readable in photo) reads: NOTICE. The 2 screws found in the rear of the case are used primarily for protection of the R.F. assembly in transportation. These may be removed when the instrument is permanently located. Those 2 screws appear to be there. Power cord shows some"kinks" in it from being stored ... morein"hole" photo 5) There are no breaks or cuts in power cord. 2 test leads show some"crackling" of the insulation. Due to being wrapped(photo 1) around instrument. Wires are not broken, but there is a"cut" in the insulation. Plastic"face-plates" show no cracks. Heathkit Color Bar & Dot Generator Model CD-1
I did not built this unit. It was done very well. Though, compared to many others I have seen. Some of the wire-to- terminal connections could be a little tighter and wire ends trimmed better. The color bar test pattern doesn't look very good. That may have been because of the way I hooked it up. I did not have the correct cable or adapters so there were some unshielded leads and it was out of the case. The parts are all original. Even most of the tubes still have the Heath Daystrom markings on them. I last used it in the late'70's and it worked well. I have not done any analysis or repair on it. I thought someone might want it as it was originally built. I do not have the test leads but it does come with the manual.

Vintage B&K Precision Dynascan Model 1250 NTSC Generator Tested Works
This is a vintage B&K Precision Dynascan Model 1250 NTSC Generator. It came from the stock of a radio. Cd, ham, electronic repair shop that we recently bought out. It is in very good condition. This is used to test and align B&W and Color TV televisions. It generates multiple test patterns including dots, cross hatch, center cross and bars. This would be very handy if you are restoring vintage tube television sets. The case has minor wear from use with some scuffing on the top right hand corner. There is one push button cover missing for the crosshatch pattern as well as a knob for the RF control. Neither affects functionality. The handle is in good shape. The instrument panel is in very good condition. There is no manual, cables and other documentation included. I connected the 75 ohm RF output to my plasma screen TV. I plugged in ... morethe unit and it powered up. I was able to select and display all test patterns, different raster colors and different audio frequencies. Up for your pleasure is a. Is a nice condition B& K DYNASCAN. Model 1245 Solid State Color Generator I'm clearing out some shop equipment that we no longer use. We used this a long time ago for doing quick set-ups on large front projection TV sets during installations. Its just been sitting on the equipment shelf for awhile now and is no longer needed. But if your into repairing the older TV sets or possibly video games.here ya go. I have provided lots of pictures so that you can get a good feel for it's condition. Cosmetically it is in good condition. All the knobs. Power cord, handle,switches and test cables are in good shape. The case does show a little wear and tear from being in a working shop. Testing: I connected the unit to a very small and old portable 9 inch color TV/VCR we had laying around. The second picture shows ... morethe actual pictures I took of the TV screen and the patterns it generated on it. not the greatest pictures but just wanted to show it works. I also had to adjust the brightness and contrast of the TV some) Results: First thing I found was that it has been re-tuned to channel 4. It was factory set to channel 3. The instruction manual tells you how to adjust it to channel 3.4 or 5) The controls will need to be cleaned as I had to adjust them a bit to get the patterns to display as shown. The unit has been sitting for awhile and will benefit greatly by cleaning the controls and alignment. The alignment is described in the manual and a basic oscilloscope is needed for this. A downloaded copy of the Instruction Manual is included which describes its operation. RF connections to the TV antenna, connections for the color guns(not tested) Also, the circuit description and alignment procedure. Sorry I could not locate the original manual but they do show up on eBay if you need an original. Please take a look at the pictures and I will try to answer any questions. My fine print: I live close to the post office. I use priority mail. It costs a little more but less time to be damaged

SIMPSON Signal Generator Model: 315) Hello! and thank you for looking at my item. Up for bids is a used signal generator manufactured by the Simpson Electric Co in 1946/47. Unit is in good cosmetic condition with a few minor use and wear marks. The unit was not fully tested however given a detailed inspection. The unit was plugged in and it did power up. This unit contains 3 tubes. All of the tubes were removed. Tested and re-installed(1ea 6J5-strong. 1ea 6K6-strong and 1ea 6X5-strong) The glass on the front of the dial is in tact with no cracks or scratches however its not seated properly. A simple service on the unit will allow you access to the rear of the dial to reseat the glass. All dials and buttons operate properly. They all line up properly with the required setting. No burn marks or smells emitting from unit. The leather carrying ... morehandle on top is worn and broken. Some minor chipping paint and surface rust. No original packaging and instructions included.
