Payne. E.F. 8’0” model 202, three tips- trout rod. This three-piece rod is one of the more interesting Payne rods I have handled. It is a ca. 1930 rod. Made by Jim Payne, with the straight cork grip, truncated ferrules and nickel silver straight-faced ferrules plugs. It also has agate guides on the three tips and the stripping guide is also made of red agate. At 4.10 ounces, this is a medium action model 202 with the Spanish cedar wood spacer and the blued nickel silver sliding band and Payne stamped butt cap. The varnish on this rod has that prefect glass-like appearance that could have only come from the brush strokes of Jim Payne. While this rod appears unused, I strongly suspect that after Mr. Payne refinished this rod and then it was not used again. The sections are straight, and the ferrule fits are perfect. The rod comes in an original ... morePayne two-tip cloth bag and the correct older-styled brass capped tube. This is a wonderful example of this man’s early work and, in this condition– with three tip sections, not at all easy to find.

You are biding on a lot of three. 20 in. Carbon Express bolts, and three expandable broad heads. They have half moon nocks with one of them being a lighted nock. These bolts have never been shot and are in good condition. I will ship the broad-heads unscrewed from the bolts. I cannot remember the brand of broad-heads. Not responsible if you shot your eye out or for the death of a poor deer. Handle the broad-heads with caution, they are very sharp! I have also thrown in three practice tips.
